This espresso knock box with tamp station has made my home espresso setup much more organized. The knock box is sturdy and holds up well even with frequent use. It’s easy to knock out used coffee grounds, and the integrated tamp station keeps my tamper conveniently at hand. The design is compact and doesn’t take up much counter space, which is a big plus for small kitchens. It is also good for stability and is lightweight. Good value for money as well. The only minor issue is that it can get a bit messy if you’re not careful when tapping out the portafilter, but overall it’s easy to clean and maintain. Recently I bought a real espresso machine with portafilter, so I needed a tamping station. Amazon has a large selection of these stations, most of them are very fancy. I was looking for a no-frills, compact and inexpensive tamping station, and this device fits the bill. It is a versatile (51/58mm portafilter sizes), has three positions for storage a tamper and other accessories, and its small size and black color make it a nice addition to any espresso machine. This tamping station is just what I needed and works exceptionally well. It is heavy enough not to slide around on my counter, helped by the non-slip feet on the bottom. My 58 mm portafilter fits perfectly into the hole, once I figured out that the hole has an inner sleeve for smaller portafilters that must be removed for 58 mm ones. My only complaint is that the adjustment screw to support the portafilter handle was too short for my Profitech portafilter. However, I easily replaced the screw that came with the tamping station with a longer one, which now works perfectly. Overall good device for the price. Quality is solid, not heavy, and sits flat on counter (no wobbling). Only issue is the portafilter holder is not universal. I will likely have to melt some of the plastic away to fit my portafilter properly. Otherwise it looks good, keeps things organized, and is a fair price. Read more

Works great but is super hard to clean. Water and grinds get stuck inside the plastic base. Ended up just keeping the knock box and putting the rest of my pieces in a drawer. Read more
