If you use a Pop socket car mount in a Jeep Renegade like I was, go ahead and throw it away and get this product!!! The only vent I could use with PopSocket was the left side near the door. Awkward!!!! And it would fall out tossing my phone abruptly!! With this mount, I no longer worry about that! It works perfectly with MagSafe cases!! It’s sturdy and it’s definitely worth the money! Very much surprised after a different styled unit

I was not entirely keen on ordering this, but after having yet another (3rd) dash mounted mount give out i thought what do I have to lose. There is a different variation of this that has just a single ball on a fixed protrusion, I took that mount off within a day of putting it on. That mount vibrated so much i was afraid of camera damage or my phone coming off. This unit is the exact opposite. The fitment of the housing to the vent structure is nice, not overly tight and no fear of breakage when press fitting to install, snapped in place without issue. The magnet for the magsafe works just fine with both my wife's phone and my quadlock case. There is still some vibration, but nothing overt or unexpected like most other dash mounts. Ease of adjustment is great, just slide the ball section from bottom to top into the desired spot, the magnet is also off set so you have additional adjustment besides the 3 slots for the ball alone. I'm using an Iphone 16 Pro and have no issues with interference of the infotainment screen, but a phone larger than mine may interfere, as well as interfere with vent air flow. Just a draw back of its placement, the design as mentioned has plenty of adjustability to try and alleviate this. While plastic, due to location, and lack of needed adhesive, I don't foresee a durability issue unless you over stress the ball in a certain direction, but that would cause above normal use input or impact.
