This little solar light adds a bit of whimsy to your garden. Depending upon the amount of sun it absorbs during the day will determine how bright it will shine at night. The photo was taken after a sunny day and you can see how bright it is. Please know that it's not meant to illuminate a big area, but it's to be used as a fun, little light in your garden. It's been very durable, surviving outside during quite a harsh winter and many rainy days. I love that I don't have to change batteries or hook it up to electricity because it's completely powered by the sun. It came in separate pieces and needed to be put together but it was very easy to assemble. It is smaller in person compared to one of the pictures in the description (the photo of it by the fence). This is beautiful and really looks nice in our little fantasy garden. To me is seems very worth the price and adds a beautiful glow. Though we live in the Pacific Northwest so for us the solar doesn't work great so it doesn't last super long but that's likely regional not specific to this item. So keeping in mind your amount of light even if it doesn't last a long time it's still pretty. Read more
I added these to the flower beds along our front path and they are just magical. The fairy design is so whimsical and my son loves going outside to say goodnight to them. I use a lot of creative solar lights in my garden and backyard, and I’m very happy to add this magical light to my collection. I didn’t expect the high degree of detail to this piece. The crescent moon cradling one side of the light display has cutouts that glow when the solar globe is lit. The light is wrapped in bronze wire that adds dimension and ties it in with the metal frame. The top portion screws onto a sturdy pole that stakes into the ground. It’s winter so I haven’t tried it in the yard yet, but the pole is sturdy and so is the stake. I tested the top structure in my dark basement, and it looks beautiful. This is a really pretty little solar garden stake. The moon + fairy/butterfly design is the main reason I picked it up, and it looks especially nice at night with the warm white light reflecting off the clear ball. Setup is simple: flip the switch to ON and stake it into the ground. The light comes on automatically once it gets dark. It’s definitely an accent light, not a spotlight—perfect along a walkway, in a flower bed, or near a patio where you want a soft glow. the stake works fine in normal soil, but if your ground is super hard you may want to loosen the spot first so you don’t bend it. This is such a cute little garden light. The metal stems to be nice and thick, and is powder coated them painted it looks like. I feel like This will hold up to rain well. It’s well made and the design is lovely with the fairy, Cristal and ball all being beautiful. It was packaged carefully and came in great shape.
