I am in love with these! As someone who happens to be a bit “height challenged,” these are exactly what I needed! I gain so much height with these while also getting a massive fashion boost! These are so unique, and the quality is fantastic. The heel is nice and chunky, so they’re super easy to walk in without having balance issues and they aren’t made of that cheap looking foam stuff that a lot of platforms use, so they feel incredibly durable. I took these ladies out for a spin to the supermarket tonight (which is why the soles have a little dirt on them - they came perfectly clean), and our debit was a success! They fit true to size. I’m a 10.5 but usually need to buy size 11 because of availability, and these fit with a little wiggle room in the toes. As for the calves, I don’t have a millimeter to spare, but they do fit. The boot slouches when I’ve worn it for a while, so I’m not sure if that’s because of the fit at the calves or because they’re slightly soft. Either way, the style allows it, but overall I think I’d prefer that it didn’t do that. They’re not nearly as heavy as I imagined they would be. They’re comfortable to walk in, especially since the sole and the heel balance each other very well in height. These boots are very dramatic, they have a side zipper, which makes them easy to put on. They are really well made and decent quality.
