They look great and are soft inside. They run a little big, I normally wear a 9 but these are pretty loose on me, however I'm not sure I could have used an 8.5 because they might have been too tight. The coloring is beautiful on these boots. The main drawback (other than not fitting me) is the smell! They smell like some type of chemical. I don't know if that will disappear over time, but sheesh, opening the box the first time was awful! I did not notice the smell when I put them on and walked around my house, so it isn't so strong that it 'carries' up. These boots are amazing. I have big legs and small ankles and usually have a hard time finding boots that fit. I usually wear 7.5 but always get boots in size 8 for my legs.
