Quad Lock Adhesive Dashboard Console Car Phone Holder Kit with MAG Wireless Charging Head V2 and MAG Phone

I was initially very skeptical about using an adhesive to “stick” a phone holder to the dash of a brand new truck…I must say that am more than impressed with the strength of the 3M tape and how firm and secure it is. The price point is more than reasonable and possibly a little lower than it should be. I drive back roads and lease roads, in and out of ditches, and pipeline right of ways with ease and it has never dropped my phone. The magnetic charger is very sturdy and i don't even have to twist lock my iPhone Pro Mac phone into place. This holder works very very well! I have a bunch of QUAD LOCK stuff for my motorcycles, cars and pedal bikes Always good - only problem with the magnetic unit is when the car bounces around it can (rarely) come off. So I would never ever use the magnetic unit on my motorcycles or mountain bikes - always the twist lock with the demper. Read more

Love the new case for my personal phone. BUT, the fast wireless charging head isn’t as fast or even close to it. I tried new OE iPhone cord, and a super fast charging cord connected into the fast wireless charging head and doesn’t fast charge. Although the super fast charging cord is also used for my work phone which is a galaxy phone, charges that phone really quick whether it’s connected to charging head or connected directly to android phone. I prepped and cleaned the surface before I placed the mag charger on it. I really felt confident in the spot I chosen for it, but with the Texas heat I knew that it wasn’t going to hold up but I had hope. On the fourth day of use I had it parked in the shade with the windows at half mass my phone was on the charger. I was doing something constructive outside, my phone was low on battery so I wanted to charge it. I came to check my messages and in of course fell off the dash into my cup holder. I picked it up and it was hot to the touch but from the charger portion. My phone charing status was on pause due to the temperature. I have to remind you windows down literally parked under some low hanging limbs of a tree, it was not hot in the truck. The charger didn’t really charge that fast it actually was really slow. I loved having the phone mounted while it lasted with the easy accessibility of a magnet to attach it but what a bummer and waste of money. Read more
