They are very soft and quality made. They stopped all crawlers from entering my bed and pillows because they fit perfectly. I have no dust mite allergies so im unsure abt that. They are VERY easy to put on and remove. They are soft and extremely comfortable to lay on or touch. No stains or spills went thru them so they work well. They are easy to wash a dry. Was a little tough to put on my mattress but that was because it was only me putting it on, plus standing the mattress up vertically was barely shorter than my ceiling so it took some finagling. Fits snug onto the mattress and has a nice two-textured feel to it. The part that goes around the mattress is silky whereas the part you’ll lay on has a fuzzy sort of roughness to it. For the price it seems pretty good, although I will say the zipper is very small, so it’s probably likely to break if you’re not too careful. It’s not silent when moving your body on it but it’s not that loud either, kind of in the middle. Haven’t tested the waterproofing yet, but it seems well sealed and the right material to get the job done. It adds a nice little bit of extra cushioning for when you put your sheets on top of it, so it functions as an extra little buffer between your sheets and mattress. Overall, I’m pleased so far. I'm replacing my old one which was three years old and only had to be replaced when a pen went in the dryer and stained the cover! It is easy to put on the mattress and taken off.
