Also recommend lubing the pump with something non petroleum
Mercruiseer OEM part. Bought this for a 2004 SeaRay 240 Sundeck with the 350Mag engine. I do not know when Mercruiser switched from the plastic housing to the brass but thankfully mine is the brass one. This impeller fits the brass pump housing, it is for the pump with the two flats on the pump shaft. Some impellers are for the one flat shaft, be sure you order this if yours has two flats. To aid installation, I used two nylon tie wraps to squeeze the blades tight, made install a breeze. Also recommend lubing the pump with something non petroleum, I used Dawn dish soap. Otherwise on initial start up, it may squeal until water is sucked up in it. Indeed, remove the pump to replace this part, much easier.
