Change the thermostat also!!!
The plastic inter keyway is the factory unit (no more metal insert). I checked. Change your thermostat also!!!! there is a revision, the original doesn't flow at idle very well. New thermostat is a new design! Read more
Water pump / impeller
Put this one in new in a 2008 Mercury four stroke motor works great will buy again . Read more
Don't forget the pin in the shift linkage.
The hardest part of the installation was removing the little pin that connects the shift linkage. You'll want to have a new pin to put it back together. 2012 Merc 25 EFI 4 cycle works perfect again. No more overheat alarm from a weak impeller. Read more
