Highly recommended for the DIY-er
The wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedroom had gotten a little loose and formed small ripples. I considered hiring a professional to fix it, but assumed it would be too expensive. I’ve watched professional carpet installers use this device, and although I have never used one, it looked easy and I’m pretty handy. I ordered this one because it was the lowest price that would arrive quickly. The second I took it out of the box, I could see it was well made. The carpet grippers are sharp and strong but did not damage the low pile carpeting. The knee kick pad is well padded but firm. About an hour later the carpeting was smooth and tight!
