I’ve been biting my nails for as long as I can remember. I’m actually embarrassed by the way my nails look. It’s a disgusting habit that I haven’t been able to break. I have no idea why I do it. I thought this stuff would be a great way to end this once and for all. This bitter stop biting polish was a total disappointment. I was fairly pleased with the product I received. Two small bottles that came each came in their own nice little box. There are no instructions with this product. At least the products I received had none. Im a little OCD when following directions so I was hoping there would be some sort of guidance on application amount and frequency. There was none of that to be found on the boxes or the bottles. I put a really heavy coat of this stuff on each of my finger nails. I was pleased to see that the product left little to no trace of application once it dried. It also dried quite quickly. This stuff had my hopes up. I was thinking if I started to subconsciously begin to nibble or naw on a nail the extreme bitterness of this product would make me recoil with disgust and I’d be on the path to breaking my disgusting habit. It didn’t take long. was sitting watching TV when it dawned on me: I was chewing on one of my finger nails. I don’t even know how long I’d been doing it but I know I was really disappointed that there was no offensive taste or bitterness that alerted me to stop my nasty habit. NOTHING! It was as if I hadn’t put ANYTHING on my nails to try to prevent my gross habit. Needless to say this stuff does not work. Yes it’s cheaper that psychiatric therapy. But for the price of this product I was really expecting a whole lot more of an invasive taste or bitterness that would my me think twice about continuing my disgusting habit. This was not the case. This stuff is not a deterrent. I don’t know what it is but it definitely wasn’t effective at all for me. Maybe I got a bad batch. Maybe I’m that desensitized by my nasty habit. Whatever the case is I was hoping this would at least do something. Very disappointing. Definitely recommend looking elsewhere if you’re serious about breaking a nail biting habit. Read more

This was a good choice for me to prevent from biting my nails. I've had that terrible habit for the better part of my life and it's hard to break. This dried fairly quickly. When I attempted biting my nails, it definitely stopped me in my tracks. Doesn't have a good taste but that's the point and I'm glad it made me not want to bite them. So far, so good with this bite stopper nail polish. My 12-year-old daughter‘s both have trouble avoiding biting their nails and so they wanted to try to help their nails grow out longer. They both report that it is pretty gross tasting and bitter, and it makes them definitely not want to bite their nails. I would say that the bitter taste lasts for two or three days before they need to reapply. And it just looks like a very sheer coat of thin nail polish. This definitely gets the job done. Read more
