In fact, I bought it twice while the first one was MIA at someone's house. The first one was 6 feet and if I have the proper product, this one is 5 feet. I prefer this one as it is shorter but also has a seatbelt clip. That is a very nice addition. I want to assume it is not part of the 6 foot model because it may pose a threat still if the dog were to try to jump out of the window. I rarely keep the windows all the way down to avoid that issue. The stretch is nice and gives my dog some leeway. Those retractable leashes are the worst for heavy pullers, in my opinion.
