I’ve tried the sharpening stones and the electric sharpeners and I’ve spent probably hundreds. A friend recommended this little thing and I laughed. But it was so cheap that I ordered it for a laugh. Let me tell you something; This is the best knife sharpener I’ve ever had. No bull. You just drag the knife through those two little metal rings a few times and voila! The knife comes out razor sharp. I put my old bread knife through it maybe a half a dozen swipes, put it in the drawer and forgot about it. Next time I cut bread I sliced my finger open. This is a good knife sharpener. It works the best sharpening paring knives from the kitchen knife drawer that lose their edge. You can put a quick cutting edge back on the knife in a few minutes. Very handy. I only gave it 4 stars because I ordered a "pack of 2." There were supposed to be 2 sharpeners in one package, but I only received one sharpener.
