Excellent product for healthy teeth and gums -> from three yearly cavities to ZERO!
I have sensitive teeth and receding gums, but both problems are improving. My teeth are cleaned twice a year because, despite my religious brushing and flossing, I still get a bit of build-up at the gum-line due to my saliva PH? Not sure but I researched this and unfortunately it is true, yet my brother is one of those lucky lottery winners. He could eat a box of Oreo cookies at every meal and never brush or floss and he has never had build-up nor cavities. Ok,enough of story-time. Here is why I like this toothbrush: First, the bristles are soft and plentiful. Despite the supposed "soft" bristles of those complimentary toothbrushes at the dentist's office they would often shred my gums. The Radius, however, is truly a better quality product than anything you will find on the wall-of-toothbrushes at Walgreens. The first few times you use this brush you will feel awkward about how much it overlaps past your teeth and into your gums, however, this is good. With gentle sweeping motions you can clean a larger area and simultaneously massage the gum-line. I use this brush to gently sweep away the food and plaque right at the gum-line, then I floss, and finish with a Senodyne (start with Radius and end with the Sensodyne) and after three years of this I have not YET had any cavities. Before I was filling two or three cavities a year. My hygienist noticed a great difference in my healthy gums after I decided to use both Radius and Sensodyne. I highly recommend the Sensodyne too ... you can still brush you teeth in three minutes... add a minute of flossing. Remember, if you are left-handed they make a Radius for the lefty too.
