I'm a 53-year old man. I've bought a lot of stuff in my life. For men, this product right here is one of the very best purchases you will ever make. At first glance, it looks like overpriced deodorant, and you would be wrong. This is the single best deodorant I've ever used. Why? Lemme tell ya: - container is made of sturdy plastic with a screw on top and a twist dispenser that does not break - rolls on smooth with no mess - smells good - no skin irritation to speak of, none of any kind - lasts all day, works as advertised One more thing. The Blue Polo fragrance is an enticing choice for most men. This deodorant stick is worthy of addition to your personal traveling kit to complement the cologne. The dispenser is relatively small and cylindrical and will fit easily among other toiletries. Most of us who also like Blue Polo cologne for men will be somewhat disappointed by this deodorant for at least two reasons. The first is that after application the fragrance quickly disappears leaving the impression that it was not applied. The deodorant itself lasts all day, but If you want a long-lasting fragrance as well, then you will also need to apply the cologne as well. The second reason is that this product is somewhat sticky during the application process. Other deodorants tend to smoothly glide during application, this product does not. Normally I do not write reviews for such products as this, but I had to write a review on the Polo Blue deodorant stick. This is a tremendous value for your money. I know you might be thinking - why on earth am I paying $20 for a stick of deodorant? I know I did at first, because I have used other cologne based counterpart deodorants that lasted maybe 30 days and didn't smell anything like the cologne. The scent of this stick is spot-on for Polo Blue, but not overpowering and since it is not an alcohol-based deodorant, the stick lasts forever. This stick is unlike anything offered on the mass commercial market in terms of quality and scent. The stick I'm using right now I've used daily for 60 days and it still has plenty left in it. However, you must understand when purchasing this that the daily lasting power of the stick is completely subjective based upon one's body chemistry and I can understand why some people say it doesn't last. Every body is different, so the results are going to vary, and the truth is that you won't know how it lasts on you until you try it. For less than $20, it's definitely worth trying to see if it works for you. For me, it lasts all the way to the end of the day with a very subtle hint of it remaining.
