Why did you pick this product vs others?: Originally I had found these in a store while looking for nitrile gloves. I checked Amazon and they were almost half the price as the store. These are my favorite kind, most cost efficient, and NEVER rip (I stretch them to double glove). They are also "grippy" (not too grippy though), and you can use your cell phone with them on. These never break on me unless I'm doing harder work that causes blisters. Comfort: Some gloves have fingers that are too long (if that makes sense) Read more

When working on cars, I alternate between using traditional fabric/leather gloves and rubber gloves. If I need fine tactile feel, or I'm working with chemicals, I use rubber gloves, otherwise I use traditional mechanic's gloves. In some cases, I'm wearing both! The Ravens are excellent. Six mils are enough to provide good confidence and protection from chemicals and mechanical scraps, bumps, and cuts -- but not so thick that you have no feel, or your fingers are constrained. The texturing gives you *excellent* grip. My hands are small relative to my long fingers, so I was torn between the medium and large glove sizes. The mediums mostly work fine, but I end up with some "webbing" between my fingers because my fingers are longer than what will fit in the glove. The large size ends up fitting my fingers better, and aren't loose as I'd expect. If you're stuck between two sizes, go with the larger size. The super-super tight fit of the smaller glove is reassuring at first, but eventually is more of a pain than they're worth as it takes too long to pull them on. And if you go with a size that's too large, they'll be plenty snug. You can reuse these gloves if you're careful and the situation warrants, but they will make your hands sweat. Gross as it sounds, the sweat sort of serves as a lubricant to make putting the glove back on easier! The black color is annoying if you're trying to see how dirty your gloves are (for instance, if you're about pick up something you're trying to keep clean), and they don't do much for color contrast when working in dark spaces. However, the coloring has one great advantage: After you take the gloves off, they're easy to hold up to the light to look for small tears. Depending on how corrosive the chemicals you work with are, that can be a good thing to know! Read more

Raven gloves are seriously the best! We purchase them regularly for our business and also use them for different tasks around the house. The 7 mil thickness makes them strong, durable, and dependable. Amazon’s price is excellent for the quality and value you get—I couldn’t ask for a better glove! Read more

I absolutely love the durability of these gloves and the thickness meets my animal handling needs very well. I bought them mostly for my female roommate who has rather small hands and is also an animal handler. However: The sizing runs /very/ small. I did my best to use the sizing chart the company offers, so ordered the medium size gloves. The gloves are simply too small. She can fit into them with a struggle, but they are very tight and are difficult to leave on for more than just a couple of minutes. I can fit in them but it is a /very/ difficult thing to do and I can only wear them for a far shorter time than she. I am pondering ordering XL gloves based upon this experience, and I hope to reach the company to see if I can get a replacement in XL. Definitely worth the price if you get the correct size!
