Love this clock for my work desk. No separate remote for outdoor temperature, which I love. I love the 3 day weather forecast shown with the date and time. Beachy background picture is pretty. Newer models don't offer this picture anymore, which is sad. I would have ordered another of it was still offered. Only one issue with time/temperature since ordered. Contacted the company, and it was an internal server issue. They responded quickly, and we're pleasant to work with. Happy to actually receive support with this product purchase. I’m a caregiver to a 98 year old gentleman. Recently he took a fall and spent time in the hospital and rehab unit. While in rehab, he and I noticed the digital clock on the wall. What a great idea for someone that lives in a nursing home environment or has difficulty reading a normal clock. My friend particularly enjoys the bright white screen that also doubles as a night light. The white screen is only one of many to choose from, the the selection of screens offer different colors, pictures, and displays, there are multiple screens to choose from making the clock very personal. The screens are simple to change and very easy to set up. There are lots of screens to choose from and they all look terrific. Because it’s a clock it displays the time and date in very large print making it easy to see at a glance. In addition to the time this clock allows the user to view what the weather is going to be using easy to understand and read icons. Now my friend knows how to dress in morning because he knows if it’s going to be sunny or raining ahead of time. Another feature my friend is enjoying is that the clock will allow the user to know what type of moon will be rising. This clock can be plugged into any outlet and it has a the ability to insert backup batteries which brings me to my complaint. When I attempted to insert the batteries I found that I could not because the area that holds the batteries is defective. Not that big of a deal because my friend does not need this feature. I ordered the 7", but for mounting on our home office wall, it was too small. For sitting on a desk it is a nice size, but to see easily from a distance, it was too small. I sent the 7" back and ordered a 10" clock, and it is perfect. 12 themes to choose from, auto dimming, alarms, scheduling, very easy to use settings, easy wall mount hanger (I used Command strips), and more. You don't have to have dementia to buy this clock. If you just want an easy to read day and date clock, this is a great buy. Read more
