Good alternative to matches and lighters
The wands work great and have a short recharge time. I have lit several candles with the wand, just know that new wicks will take a few seconds to ignite as the wax melts from the wick. I like that the 4 rods retract when not in use and the LED light has been very useful to see where the wick is in low light situations. Read more
Surpass Bics and Matches
This lighter wand was a perfect find. I needed to stop buying wooden matches and Bic lighters. I love candles and as they are lit on repeat, it is difficult to relight with a regular lighter. Very easy to burn your fingers. This product includes the cable to recharge and a sweet little information brochure. Each comes in a separate box which is ideal for gifting. Halo is a brand that always means quality!
I got one and gave two of these for Christmas. I love them. They light candles so fast and EASY. Everyone I gave one to loves them as much as I do. If you are looking for a gift for the person who has everything. This is the perfect gift! They are also beautiful and well made. Mine feels so sturdy, you can tell it’s not some cheap throwaway. The media could not be loaded. I’ve had these lighters for a little over a month. I burn candles every day, and I have several different go-to lighting methods: matches, butane lighters, butane torches, rechargeable arc lighters. Before these Halo Lighter Wands, I preferred butane torch lighters, because the rechargeable electric arc lighters that I had were cheap, they were not super strong, and they didn’t hold a charge very long. I saw these on QVC and they were cheaper on Amazon. I’m a big fan— the arc lighter end has a cross-cross pattern that you can see in the videos that is perfect for lighting candles quickly. I also like how the prongs are protected when not in use because they recede back into the lighter when you are not deploying the switch mechanism to ignite them. There is also a light ring about two inches from the tip that is perfect for lighting a candle in the dark. It automatically comes on when you press the ignition switch. They hold a charge for several weeks (and I use mine daily). A lot of friends and family members will be getting these from me for Christmas. I wish that the designs weren’t so basic (leopard print, plaid, etc.)— I would prefer a solid gold, solid silver, and solid black lighter in a set instead of loud colors, etc. Still, I love these lighters. I am very happy with these lighters. Use them all the time for candles. You do have to clean the tips from time to time as they can be wax on them. Charge quickly and a the charge lasts a long time. Read more
