It was DOA, in that we could not open the door. Maybe stuck in child lock. By holding the unlock button, we could get the child-lock light to go out... but it was like nothing was connected to the opening "button." Worked with customer support, who were great, but could not determine a "hidden means" to open the door! Customer support was great in getting the return processed... it was back at the UPS Store an hour after we received it. The DISAPPOINTING part is that the product had obviously been repackaged and returned prior to our receiving it. The inside boxes had been retaped, there was not a shred of documentation included. A clear case of a defective product which had been returned, and then simply sent out to another honest customer. I'll look at what I can get via HD or Lowes before I consider Amazon again. Replaced the broken microwave in our bounder RV. The dimensions were slightly different so I had to reshim the bottom of the cabinet to make it fit in the original opening. Otherwise it's an easy install. Just double check and confirm the measurements are very close to what's in your RV/camper. Read more

This is a High Pointe model EC028BMR oven, the exact same model as came with my 2015 Roadtrek CS Adventurous RV. Presumably similar model/year vehicles from RoadTrek use the same oven. The model number can be found in the fine print inside the oven (open the door). I'm glad to have found this here so I don't have to worry about figuring out what will fit in my RV - the cabinet is small. Some tips: To remove the old oven: - unscrew six screws holding trim to cabinet facing - unscrew two screws each side of microwave to remove trim (easier to deal with a trim-less microwave) - unplug microwave and feed plug from galley cabinet into microwave cabinet. this was not easy for me - the holes did not align so the plug would not fit. removing the false face plate inside the galley cabinet made a big enough hole to push the plug through. - the oven will just slide directly out now. To install the new oven: - tie a string to the electrical cord and feed the string thru the hole between the microwave and galley cabinets, pull the string so the cord stays behind the oven (there is not enough clearance to hold the cord on top of the oven, and not enough clearance to reach the cord once the oven is in the cabinet) as you lift the oven into the cabinet. - reinstall the trim (I reused the old trim because I knew the screw holes would match, but I probably could have used the new trim) - push the oven the rest of the way in and replace the six screws securing the trim to the cabinet. - plug it in and you're done. I was very pleased with this unit starting with the unboxing. It was well packaged and arrived in unblemished condition. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bulk of assembly was done in the factory. All I had to do was put on the outer trim and slide it into the opening where my old microwave had been. The fit is exactly what the measurements say, so it was a close fit and took two of us to hold it in place, get it plugged in and slid back into the cabinet, Less than ten minutes including attaching the faceplate. Then put in the six screw to hold it in place. We have used the microwave and convection so far and both worked flawlessly. Have not yet tried the grill feature. It perfectly replaced the unit that came in the rv, and as you can tell I am very happy with it. Read more

We are full time Rv'ers We purchased this micro/convection oven back in November 2019. My wife still cooks every day. The convection oven does a great job!! Much better than the standard RV gas Stove. The Grill feature is also awesome. 11 minutes both sides for Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich's. Well, this past Tuesday, 8-4-20, for some unknown reason our oven just stopped working. No fuses or breakers tripped, just stopped working. I called RecPro. I got a wonderful young lady who listened to my story and asked about our purchase date. She put me on a brief hold, (less than 2 minutes) then came back with a very happy voice and said, Mr. D your all set, we are shipping you out a new one tomorrow morning. She verified our new address, phone and email. The next day I got an email with my shipping and tracking info. My new one came today via FedEx. 4 days!!! What a GREAT GREAT Company.
