Unique Red Edison Bulb Works Well
I've been working on an industrial look for my home bar, and regular bulbs just weren't cutting it. This flexible Edison bulb caught my eye because of the red filament (something different from the usual amber ones). At 300mm long, it gives off plenty of light coverage for the space. What I really like is how you can actually bend this thing. I curved mine to follow the shape of my fixture, which looks way better than having it stick straight out. The red glow definitely leans more toward mood lighting than anything practical. I wouldn't try doing paperwork under it, but that's exactly what I wanted for the bar area. The LED filament looks solid enough, and all the connections seem tight. Running at only 3 watts means I don't think twice about leaving it on for hours. The 2200K temperature gives you that warm vintage feel, though the red tint makes everything look pretty atmospheric. One heads up though (and this caught me off guard): it needs DC3V power. I had to order a separate power supply, which bumped up what I spent overall. Still think it's worth it for accent lighting like this. Read more
