I put 1 in each of my 2 LR lamps. 1 in kitchen lamp and 1 in bedroom lamp. I like the amt of light they give off and have kept all of them in the lamps. YES! The elect went off BUT I DID NOT EVEN KNOW IT! In the LR, a few weeks ago my tv went black and I was sitting there saying to myself , oh well, guess The TV is now broke. THEN got up to go to bathroom and realized the elect. Had gone off. My LR was lit brightly. HOWEVER, a few was ago sitting in LR there was a horrific very loud type of explosion, which seemed like it was a few ft from me. BUT all seemed fine, both LR lights still on and we’re fine. Never could determine what had exploded so loud. A few nights later I was turning off one of the LR lamps and noticed the entire top cap of the bulb was off and sitting askew. That was what had popped off BUT sounded like an explosion. Soooo, I am unfortunately a little leery now about is it going to happen with the others. Read more
