so I used it once. they do tell you about all the lights. get your magnifying glass and read the very small pamphlet. It does tell you not to charge and use the mask at the same time. I was curious though about the light which feels really strong on the eyes. Is that normal. should I be covering the eyes more while using the mask. I will update this review in 1 month. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I’d consider myself a tech-savvy individual, but unexpectedly this device took me a few days to figure out. The instructions offered minimal advice on charging and using. I figured I had gotten a defective unit. It looked simple enough, but I eventually figured out it has quirks to charging and using the device. Therefore, I’m going to share what I learned to save others the frustration. The biggest thing to remember is that the black remote unit with the buttons must only be plugged into either the wall or the face mask, not both simultaneously like most devices would. The charging port is the USB-C connection on that black remote. Then the face mask is plugged into it using the regular USB side on the other end of it. However, the device won’t charge or turn on if the face mask is connected to the black remote while plugged into an outlet. I’ve included a picture and video to demonstrate how to charge it (photo) and how to use it (video). While charging the black remote will be flashing red. Once it starts flashing green it’s ready to use. You can change the LED color by pressing the remote button and the LED light showing on the remote shows which color the mask is outputting. My wife provided feedback on the actual use. She has probably 6-7 LED light therapy devices. Some only offer red light and UV light, she has one that does red, blue and yellow, but has been wanting one like this that offers all 7 colors available. She has some pigmentation areas she’s trying to lighten, reduce breakouts, as well as using it to increase collagen and promote healing when she has any pimples or abrasions on her face. She’s been using it 3-4x per week since she got it a few months ago and has definitely seen improvements in her skin. She very rarely has any breakouts anymore and has found this has reduced some of her fine lines and wrinkles. She also noticed that her jaw muscles don’t seem as tight and uncomfortable anymore. The face mask is easy to put on and stays in place so you don’t necessarily even need to lay down while using it. Although it’s meant for the face, you can lay it across other parts of your body. She’s used it to help with a few minor cuts on her hands as well. She says this device is in her top 2 favorites of all of the LED light therapy devices she has. Read more
I am reviewing: Duevie LED Facial Mask Light Therapy 7 Color Mask(FSA/HSA Eligible) Spa Facial Skin Care Dry Mask For Acne Reduction Skin Rejuvenation Anti-Aging Wrinkle Acne First of all, this product doesn't come with instructions. I used the Amazon listing to make sure that I was setting it up correctly. I like that it doesn't have to be plugged into power while using. It charged in minutes, very quickly. It is very easy to set up. With no explanation of the effects of the 7 different colors, I spent some time online researching. It would have been nice if this mask would have provided this information, at least briefly. There is a lot of information out there about the benefits and dos and don'ts, so really it should be something that any user would do, regardless of what comes with the mask. The mask has a head strap with hook and loop closure in the back of the head. I began using the strap. I adjusted it several times, tighter, more loose, higher on the back of the head and lower, to try to get a good feel. Everyone is different so there is no perfect form that's going to work for everyone. As you can see from the photo, the nose and upper lip between the nose and lip are not receiving the light affect. I began with the eye pieces in, which allows opening the eyes while shielded from the light. They do, however, keep any of the light from reaching the areas around the eye that need targeting as well. I have a very tender nose, caused by surgery 12 years ago. Using the head straps, combined with the design of the mask, I did not feel comfortable. The pressure on my nose was unpleasant. The small strip below the nose was uncomfortable against my nose. A person with a smaller nose might not find these a problem. The opening for the mount left my entire area under the nose untargeted. That is a particular area where I would like to see some improvement. So, with all of that said, I removed the eye cups, I removed the head strap and just laid my head back with the mask covering my face. Eyes closed, reclining position, audio book going and Siri keeping the timer for me, it was all much better. I felt like I got better light coverage, more comfortably. I do wish that the mask was wider, because I've got age spots close to my ears on my cheeks, and the mask does not wrap around my face far enough to sufficiently cover those areas on the sides of my face. A neck piece would be good as well, but that's another thing entirely. Overall, I think I have figured out how I need to use the mask. It doesn't get hot. While wearing the mask, I tried to determine if there was any sort of feeling, and other than the mask preventing the cool air from the room from reaching my face, I couldn't really detect any feeling caused by the lights. The mask is weighty. I am working on developing a schedule for maximizing the benefits of the different lights that I wish to target. I'm happy with the mask. I will update this review in a few weeks when/if I see an appreciable difference. Read more

I wanted to wait and try this mask a few times before I reviewed to get the full benefits. Man, this thing is AWESOME! In a week it has tightened my skin and reduced fine lines. My face is so smooth and looks great! This is easy to operate and doesn't take much time out of the day to have incredible benefits. I highly recommend this face mask. Read more
Once I got everything unboxed and I read the instructions, I plugged the remote in to charge. I thought it was weird that you need to charge the remote in the first place, since it's intended to remain plugged in throughout use, but whatever. I plugged it in around 8 pm and it was still "charging" when I fell asleep after 11 pm. Finally, when I saw it was ready the next morning, I turned it on just to see and... nothing happened. No amount of button clicking made it work. Frustrated, I decided to do the ol' "unplug it and plug it back in" trick and it just started the hours-long charging cycle AGAIN. So I wish I could review this mask based on its effectiveness in use, but not being able to turn it on at all kind of squashed that option. Read more
