I am a huge fan of red light therapy and use it for all the different kinds of things. One of the struggles, though with my big lamp is treating my face because you have to take extra care for the eye protection, so when I saw this and had a chance to review this I jumped at it. This arrived well-sealed, and nicely packaged that you could give this as a top-notch gift. When I opened the box and picked up the mask the quality was just so evident from the first touch - very smooth. The little direction booklet was easy to read and easy to follow and I had the power pack snapped on in no time and was trying it out. I used a mirror so that I could make sure that there was no leakage around my eyes and I did need to adjust the mask lightly. (I highly advise that you do this also because I didn’t even notice that there was leakage until I looked in the mirror). A little bit of slight repositioning and it completely blocked all light from around my eyes. I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful this is because with my big lamp I have to wear goggles or use blankets to shield and it’s bulky and I don’t get all areas of my face treated. This therapy mask is a game changer. I’m also super excited that it comes with the blue light because I tend to have a lot of rosacea and adult acne so I’m hopeful for help with that. There are numerous studies out there that can be researched if you want to know what uv wavelengths are being researched for different things. I will include a pic, but to be clear these are NOT medical claims and this is not saying that the light therapy will provide any medicinal benefits, per Amazon’s review policies. I personally have used red light therapy for arthritis and nerve pain and now I’m super excited to be able to try the different spectrums. I really love how easy this is to use and put together. Even the eye shields are made of a rubber that’s comfortable around the eyes. The Velcro strap on the back is easy to attach and just as easy to take off, but yet it stays in place while in use. (I did have to play with it a little bit to get it at a comfortable spot for the shape of my head and so that it would keep the light from leaking into the eye area.) the other thing that I noticed is the lights do get warm, but not too hot. It actually felt really nice- like a warm towel put over your face during a massage. I use this for 10 minutes at a time and that seems to be a good sweet spot. The quality of this mask and the components is quite impressive. With the versatility applications of the different LED lights, the quality of the material, the battery life, the ease of use, and just the overall design - I can gladly write this with as: 5 Stars – Impressive! Met or exceeded expectations! Read more

This mask is relatively comfortable and protects eyes/blocks out the light from your eyes for the most part, but I feel that the fit/comfort and the light blocking may depend on your face. For example, I have a high nose bridge, and this mask starts digging in/pressing on my nose and feeling heavy and uncomfortable after a few minutes, whereas my partner doesn't get the same discomfort on his nose. Similarly, I can't get the light to block out completely unless I press the mask up against my face with my hands, while my partner experienced complete light blocking. I even tried swapping the eye rubbers but it felt uncomfortable. The straps are fully adjustable on each side, and you can even swap them to find the best fit. Personally, no matter how much I adjusted them, I couldn't get the mask to fit more comfortably or to stay on in such a way that I can move around the house while wearing it, so I have to remain still while wearing it or else it slides down. I do have a smaller head (can even wear kids' hats), so the straps greatly overlap in the back, but that was the most comfortable position for me. Nonetheless, I still get dents in my skin all around the eyes and the bridge of my nose where the mask presses in/rests on. The battery is good and seems to last through 2, maybe 3 sessions, but ofc it adds to the extra weight. Overall, I think it's a good mask and worth the money if you can get it to fit comfortably, which may depend on your face and/or the size of your head. In my experience, it fits better on a larger head with a smaller nose and a lower bridge than it does on a smaller head with a larger nose and a higher bridge. Read more

Listen up, those of you who have done red light therapy at salons for a bunch of times! I’ve been at this device for three straight weeks—bending and stretching with yoga, cleaning house, taking calls—and I can do just about anything in my room without being tethered to the wall with cables. Regarding the gap in red light outcome, well, I go daily and you go to a salon every two weeks so I think that makes quite a good difference. Reduces cost and time. The jawline was the first to show results – after ten minutes of intense treatment it felt as if invisible warm palms were softly kneading the muscles. Over six treatment sessions, the small wireless battery provides a consistent, reliable power source. Read more

My best friend has one as well. I assumed it was just a gimmick, but to my surprise: after three weeks, the fine lines around my eyebrows were less noticeable and my makeup went on much smoother. I just put it on for 10 minutes before bed while I'm scrolling through my phone. The warm red light actually makes me feel sleepier faster. There are three other settings, but I mostly just use the red light for now. Rather surprising results. Read more

The Wellever Red Light Therapy Face Mask has been a surprisingly easy to use. The face mask itself is somewhat flexible and the quality is undeniably great. Red light therapy is supposed to be good for reducing wrinkles and scars among other things. The Wellever Red Light Face Mask was easy to set up with a good battery charge. The effectiveness will take more time to establish but I have used red light therapy before, so am familiar with the therapy concept. This mask is great but is does not fit everyone, meaning that if your face is small it may not be easy to wear. Read more

In the mornings, I put on the mask during the cooking breakfast break. It doesn't take much time, which is important since I'm typically pretty busy. It’s a game changer! By week three, a co-worker asked if I’d switched foundations—that’s when I realized this little thing had given me a whole new glow. Read more
