This is a great kit. Once it was finished it was a beautiful addition to my collection! Read more
Son very happy with this. To my eyes a little “over designed” compared with Lego, but my son loves all the details. For a build of this size, and with an integrated lighting set, it is excellent value. Read more

Lumibricks 15009 "Redbrick Row House", 2,663+ pcs., 4 dolls, Ages 16+. Excellent quality, standard-sized building blocks that are fully compatible with other brands (except for the uniquely designed mini figures). The groups of numbered bags are mostly used in order and the 2 huge instruction manuals are easy to follow. No stickers, all the parts are printed. This large house (10" x 10" base footprint and 12-1/4" tall) looks fantastic and sports loads of detail, inside and out. The 3 floors can be easily separated and the rear walls/roof swing open to allow easier play access to the interior. There's a living room, kitchen, sun porch, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms. You can use either the battery box (3 AAAs required, not included) or the USB cable to power the 10(!) electronic lights. The fireplace pulses red but all the others have steady illumination. You can connect this set to other similar Lumibricks modular building kits too, to make a light-up street. Our family of block dolls are okay, but their design isn't as good or versatile as other brands. Too rotund, no back leg connection holes, overly curved arms, and there isn't any size difference between the parents and children like there should be. It's a very impressive building block dollhouse model that takes a long time to complete (it took me several days). The complex lighting is cool but tricky to get wired up properly at times. Lumibricks, and formerly Funwhole, is by far my favorite brand of building block sets f all time. I don’t even buy LEGO anymore because their sets are not very original, they’re expensive and they don’t come with LED light kits. Every Lumibricks set is high quality, very aesthetically pleasing, and looks amazing at night but I have to say I’m very disappointed with this brick row-house set. Not because of the quality, but it is just the most boring set I have ever built, and this is my 35th Lumibricks/Funwhole set so that says a lot. Just no part of this set was fun or exciting. This is a substantial and charming modular house kit that delivers a genuinely enjoyable building experience, especially if you appreciate sets with dollhouse style access. My wife was delighted with it, and it is easy to see why. The model is large, detailed, and thoughtfully designed, with removable floors and walls that open to reveal the interior. At over 2600 pieces, it is not a quick build, and the size alone means you will want to set aside both space and time to enjoy it properly. The parts are well organized, with clearly numbered bags and two instruction manuals that each run over 300 steps. The manuals are well illustrated and paced, which keeps the build approachable despite the piece count. The included lighting kit adds a warm, lively touch once everything is assembled, and it helps the finished model feel more like a display piece than a simple construction set. The minifigures are slightly different in proportion compared to typical figures, but they are well made and fit the overall aesthetic of the build. The interior design includes two themes for the living room, allowing you to swap between seasonal or event based decor, which is a fun bit of customization that adds personality. Overall, this is a delightful and substantial kit that offers excellent value for the part count and the experience it provides. It is a rewarding project for anyone who enjoys detailed modular builds and wants something that feels both playful and display worthy. Read more

I'm an avid brick builder, but as of the past few years, the name brand stuff is getting a little ridiculously priced. Which is amazing, because a company like Lumibricks (formerly Funwhole) can put out absolutely amazing sets AND including an intuitive light design system for a fraction of the price!! I've built plenty of Funwhole sets and they never disappoint. The quality is right on par with their more expensive competitor and in my opinion, better designs overall. To be perfectly honest, I find this house to be a little bland, but I say that because all their other sets are amazing! And having said that, I'm still very happy to have this house in my modular city, because not every building has to be this grand spectacle...sometimes you just need a basic place for your mini figs to rest. All in all though, it's still a very cute set, with tons of fun surprises along the way. I think for the asking price of around $100, you simply can't go wrong. You could expect to pay triple for something of this size from a different company. I was genuinely shocked when I picked this box up, at how heavy it was. The instruction books didn't disappoint either, look at how thick they are! So if you love building modular buildings like me, this is a very easy recommend.... you'll love it. Read more
