So far, so good! I installed this myself within 30 minutes. Directions are HORRENDOUS but I have installed a few of these recently so it was easy to figure out. I love the look of it. Definitely better in person. Nice size and the fan on the highest setting put off quite a bit of breeze. Quiet fan but can still hear it which is fine by me. Put the bulbs on first! A must. Easy wiring but I wish it had a safety harness on it. I have used it for an evening so far and really enjoy it, the light and fan. It’s a great look too! Really like the look of this fan and it does move a lot of air. Compared to other fans, it doesn’t seem all that loud. Others have complained about the included bulbs being too bright and battery life. Ours did not include any bulbs or batteries so can’t comment on that. Instructions were horrible. No information about how to use the remote either. Installation was not near as hard as others have said. If you’ve installed ceiling fans in the past, it was not that difficult, but you will need a second set of hands for wiring and to secure to the bracket. Probably took me 10 minutes or less, and profanities were not necessary. The two real complaints I have about it are not including a wall mount for the remote and the light not being dimmable with the remote. Update, 2 months later: The light is dying, flickering and fading in and out. Fan turns on sporadically without the remote. 🤔 Original: Pretty fandelier. It's not perfect but pretty good, puts out good light. Not packaged great so there were some bends in the iron. Super hard to install, you need small hands and a short screwdriver. We need a fan that can be used in my son's bedroom. He has a bunk bed, and he wants to make sure he won't get stuck in the fan blades. This is the answer! It releases a lot of air, and there are cages around the leaves to provide extra protection. Close to the ceiling, bright lights, remote control, and I like the appearance! Highly recommended! Son-in-law just installed the fan today, without too much difficulty. It looks nice. However, we were surprised to find that the fan is completely inoperable without the remote--there is no manual switch or pull chain on the unit! This is NOT a good situation especially in a household with children where a remote can be lost or broken easily. On top of that, the remote barely works. After putting batteries in it, the remote seems to be defective. The buttons are very unresponsive -- you have to press them several times in order for anything to happen. This does not inspire confidence that the fan will be working for long. After the effort installing this, we don't look forward to uninstalling it and returning it. At the very least we need a replacement remote that hopefully works correctly. Then we may have to attach the remote to a block of wood or something to help keep it from disappearing. Read more

This is the coolest fan EVER!! I have a typical A-frame cabin with the huge open vaulted ceilings in every room except the bedroom. The ceiling in there is already low, but then the added depth of the exposed beam made it even lower. Then these geniuses installed a fan with a hanging light where anyone taller than 5’-10” smacks their head. It’s a small room so the traditional fan with 5 long blades and a 3 bulb light was a bit of an overkill and looked really stupid to boot but I could not find a decent replacement. Of course enter Amazon where I came across this little compact version so decided to give it a try and it is PERFECT! It creates just the right amount of light and air circulation for that sized room (10x10). I was even able to install it on top of the beam rather than between them so it looks a whole lot better as well! And fingers crossed, no one has smacked their head yet :) Read more
