Great for Murphy Bed! We purchased this for a cabinet murphy bed with a regular mattress. Our son told us that the mattress was too firm, so we purchased this to provide not only some cushioning but also the cooling factor too. Our daughter in law has a condition that makes it difficult to regulate her temperature and is always too warm. This helped quite a bit. It worked as described. I'm not a 100% happy that I can't feel the cool sensation of this mattress topper. At first, I laid this 1" thick topped with it's ridges up, laid back before dressing to feel what it would be like to sleep on. No, this was too lumpy for my taste. So! I decided to flip it and use the flat backside. This makes my 8" mattress have a little give to my new firm. Wow! This gets 5 stars from me. I had a 3" foam topper from serta before this one. The serta was so soft and squishy you could barely move once you layed down. I was hesitant to try another but after a lot of research I chose this one. This one had the best price and reviews of all I looked at. I am not disappointed!
