I had not understood that these have a simple 'dumb' charging system. You only charge them when the battery is nearly dead and then have to pull them from the charger immediately once full. Changing how I charge this, my current one has lasted a couple years now and only needs to be charged once a month or so. -1 star for not having a better charging mechanism.
