The media could not be loaded. I got this for my little girl and she has been having fun with it. This is an off-road-trick remote car, better suited for outdoor use. It can spin and pop up and down so your child will more likely plow through obstacles instead of get stuck in them. The wheels are slick plastic to allow for spins and drifting. It handles better outdoors or on surfaces with more texture or grip like carpet. On hardwood/vinyl floors, the slick wheels on a smooth surfaces make it drift off to one side even when driving straight and is generally harder to handle. The nice touches include a blue light in the front which illuminates the water mist it can optionally shoot out. The mist and light are naturally harder to see in daylight but are more pronounced and dramatic in darker places. When leaving the mist on and stationary, it will eventually create a wet spot. Something to be aware of if playing indoors. I was excited about the music feature but it was unfortunately a let down. The car has a fun start up sound, but once that is over, it just keeps making a non-stop idling sound. It gets a little annoying and unnecessary fast and both my child and I opted to turn off the sound. There is a demo option where the car just moves and dances on its own. It is sort of like a demonstration built-in. It is only in this demo mode that it plays two music tracks which is such a missed opportunity. They should have allowed the user to cycle through the idling sound and the two music tracks, but it doesn't. The two unique batteries for the remote car are a bonus, though they require its own specific charging adapter... so keep all of these things together. Just know that the remote control requires 2AA batteries as well and that's not included. Both battery lids are secured with a small screw. It is a bit awkward getting the batteries situated but they at least include a small screwdriver. If you want a fun remote car with a few unique features that drifts and goes over minor to moderate obstacles, this is a great choice. If you're looking for a remote car that you can control and handle precisely, this is less in that category. The lack of a music feature in exchange for an annoying idling sound was a missed opportunity. Overall, it is a good value if you can get it at $32 with the current available coupon on Amazon. The $40 sale price seems fair but on the high end. The full retail price of $50 means you'd really want to have this remote car because that's a bit pricey for what it is and not competitive with what else is out there. Read more

Got this for my daughter's 8th birthday later this month. She's absolutely going to love it. I took it out of the box, put batteries in it and tested it out while she wasn't home. The ground outside where we live now (with my grandmother) is a mixture of dirt, sand, grass and weeds with a lot of leaves this time of year... And it is not even at all! Where we used to live had real nice thick dense grass. The cars I've bought in the past have REALLYYYY struggled driving at both these locations. Meaning they could only be used inside. I'm super happy to say this was not an issue at all with this dino unicorn monster truck. I didn't test the steam function out yet... I'll let her do that. But I'm sure it's going to work, as everything else worked very well. And best of all it had no issues driving on the bumpy terrain outside. Do I think it's worth $50? Ehh. You'd have to REALLY want it for that price. However, if you can get it for $30-35 I think it's a good deal. Especially since there aren't that many girly trucks out there that still got that "scare factor" (for lack of a better term). My daughter loves unicorns but enjoys dinos and monsters too. So this is going to be right up her alley. A couple things to note... You will need two AA batteries for the remote. (Wish this was included in one of the photos instead of towards the end of the description.) There is a screw to access both the battery panel on the remote and the truck. You will need to remove the screw everytime you want to charge the batteries. They do include a screwdriver though. And the screw seems to be decent quality and doesn't feel like it will get stripped out easily. The batteries can be removed to charge them. Also, I would suggest folding the charger cord up and sticking it in the battery compartment when not using it so it doesn't get lost. Last thing, I think the person who left the one star review may have confused demo mode for "demon mode". 🤦♀️ Lol. I highly suggest reading the instruction manual to learn about all the features and how to use them... One of those features being "Demo Mode" where the truck lights up, makes sounds and drives by itself. Plus, if they were actually THAT afraid, why wouldn't they just unhook the battery??? Read more

I wouldn't recommend buying it for it broke 1st time playing with it....sad Read more
My daughter thoroughly enjoys playing with this remote-controlled truck. The controls are user-friendly and highly responsive, perhaps even a little too sensitive on occasion. Given that the controls are digital, a gentle touch on the sticks can send the truck moving at full speed. The unicorn's horn is removable, allowing for the addition of a small amount of water using the provided dropper. This feature creates a lovely plume of "smoke" with a simple press of a button on the remote. A rechargeable battery is included for the truck, while the remote requires alkaline batteries, which are not included. My toddler also has a wonderful time playing with this remote-controlled truck. This item would undoubtedly make an excellent gift. Read more
