Love: One collar for fence and remote trainer 3 dogs per remote - endless collars for fence Easy to create safe zones i.e. in garage Easy to install Great diagrams in instructions Con: Comes with way too few flags buy extra Update note: after losing my remote just before the first snowfall, it shockingly didn't work when we discovered it 4 months later. Obviously JK as it was wet and eventually suffered -26゜F! Anyway I ordered a new replacement and it failed after a few months. I contacted Kool Kani through Amazon and was sent an immediate replacement! Read more

When we first got this system for our 3 dogs I was excited and pretty happy since we could use at the campground also with the remote. It is hard to get to get them all connected. We had to make sure to label the units and the controller to make sure we were correcting the appropriate dog. A few months ago one stopped working all together. Then one just works with vibration only and now hook up to the to the yard anymore. So for the cost of the unit at just under $300 not sure that a year was worth this money since we really need a new control and new units. And also if your dog gets sprayed by a skunk you never get the smell out of the plastic collar or the unit. Read more

We purchased this invisible fence in February 17/18 and because of weather conditions we waited about a month to install it. It tooks us about 4 hours of hard work to dig the line (we rented a trencher) and once we buried the wire, the invisible fence worked well! My dog learned the boundaries and we kept him in our property. But after 3 months of use it simply quit working. It doesn’t not have a on or off button, or reset or fuse or anything indicating how turn it on back again. It only has up and down buttons and left and right arrows. It went off one time before and my husband pushed the up button and it came back on. We noticed the dog was running outside the fence line and that’s how we realized that it was off. But after a month of that happening it quit working, my dog ran away and some how lost one of the collars. I am very disappointed we called Amazon CS and they gave us the “manufacture” phone number because in any of the papers that came with the collar had a costumer service number. Then that number Amazon CS gave is was the wrong manufacturer. Then we called back Amazon and they couldn’t tell us WHO was the manufacturer and since it has need more than 30 days Amazon warranty doesn’t cover it for a exchange. They offered us 2/3 of what we paid and we are required to return everything we purchased. YES!!! Even the extra 500 feet of extra wire that came with this fence. So They want us to pull out 1000 feet of wire that took us 4 HOURS to buried??!! I don’t think so!!! We paid $240 for this fence plus extra 500 feet of wire for only 3 months of “ok” service!!!??!! IT IS RIDICULOUS!!! Waste of money you better get just a training collar for the price of this invisible fence that only works for a couple of months. Dog kept running away because the electric controls kept turning itself off. BIG WASTE OF MONEY Read more

I really just can't say enough about this. Definitely worth the price, came quickly. And we even ended up ordered extra line later, which arrived within a few days after ordering it. Even though we had a few problems, they were mostly my own fault. We tried having the wire above ground and around our house ( the easiest route), but the wire had a longer range than our previous one, so our dogs ended up losing half the yard and a quarter of the house, which I didn't like. We then decided to bury the line and just double around the chain link fence, instead of going around the house. Which worked, but since we buried the lines in the same trench, they kinda blocked each other. I'm not sure if the manual or description says anything about this, but I take it on myself, since I was really just being a bit lazy about it. Now we have it separated and fully underground. It works great, about 1 1/2 -2 feet from the fence is their limit, which works perfectly for us. And they have free range of the house with the collars on. *Also, I love the remote set up. Very easy to use, especially on our off leash walks if we happen to see a moose. I can react quickly and keep them safe and with me, if necessary. ** And even more wonderful is that they send enough changers and cords so you can charge all the collars (I have 3), the remote, and keep the fence receiver plugged in (uses a different kind of plug in than the collars). Its great, since our last fence used the same charger for the receiver and the collars and only came with one cord! It was a nightmare. *** You can customize the fence/collar settings, so if you don't want to have any shock, you can turn that off, but keep the vibration and beeping. My dogs don't need the shock. If it beeps at them, they stay away from the area. All together, I really like it and definitely recommend this set up. Read more

It was missing 2 collars and once we installed according to the book our yard is decent sized but my dog that we were able to collar could hardly walk forward from the center without the alarms sounding and when we turnd it down she was able to get out and it DOES NOT give any stimuli after the dog has crossed as it says it does and she is my most obedient and least adventurous of the 3 I gave 2 stars because the remote and collar work well but the fence is crap not a complete waste of money but I could have saved about 250 bucks or more just buying a collar and remote I have 3 dogs that’s why I ordered a 3 dog package of which I only received one collar Read more
