My doctor wrote a prescription for these and I discovered they were very expensive to go the prescription route. He suggested looking on line and I found this product. Been using it for well over one year and may buy a second one for the left foot. They are interchangeable. Need this mostly for workout class. Read more

I remember paying a fortune for something like this from my podiatrist years ago. Over time, I thought I didn’t need it and I tossed it. Well, I needed it and then I looked on Amazon and this was a bargain. It works great. Read more

Beware!! The product itself works well, but this is not a pair of insoles. It is one insole. Nowhere in the description does it say that it’s not a pair and the picture is misleading showing to insoles. Highly disappointed returning product. The product itself is quality and comparable to the more expensive versions. Read more

Doctor recommended… but the size wasn’t right. I am 6 1/2 the one I received was too small. The next size it’s bigger won’t fit my shoe & because the material it’s hard, won’t adapt the shoe correctly. Read more

My podiatrist recommended this type of insert to stiffen shoes and help manage Hallux limitus. This one was more affordable than many, is true to size, and does help. Read more

I have Hallux Limitus in the early stages in my right great toe and that had begun to impact my workouts, particularly running. My toe would become very sore after a run. I read about various way of dealing with this and came across the Morton's Extension. This device prevents your great toe from bending as much during walking or running to prevent Hallux Limitus flareups. While I've not run with this yet, the fitness walking I've done seems to indicate this will work for me. The insole is a very rigid piece of carbon fiber that covers your foot from the heel to just behind the ball of your foot, then extends all the way forward to the end of your great toe, leaving the other toes free to function as normal. I put it in my Brooks and found that it changed the fit only slightly. After a while, you forget it's there. There is a noticeable difference in the flexibility of that foot but, again, once you get used to it, you don't really think about it. They key is to remove the existing insoles and put the carbon fiber underneath. Just be sure you order the correct size as these inserts are not flexible. If you get something too big for your shoe, you might not get it to fit. I wear a men's 9.5 and the insert sized for a men's 9.5 - 10 worked well for me. I'm hoping this will allow me to continue to walk and hike and maybe even run, without pain. Time will tell but so far on for the walking, it seems to be doing that. Read more
