Use across the world
Though this feels lighter and less robust than the original product, this works for 110v and 220v outlets, something the original one does not work. Original only works for 110v and got burnt during travels. Read more
Works well, but gets hotter than original chargers
I've always been annoyed that the Braun toothbrushes sold in the USA are only 120v. I've had to carry a converter when traveling internationally. In this day and age of cheap chips, being able to have a 220/120v charger should be standard. So, despite the negative reviews, I bought one of these. It works on 120v and charges probably a little BETTER than the original 120v chargers that came with the toothbrushes. It seems to give a BETTER charge to the toothbrushes. The downside to this charger is that it gets a bit hot. The original chargers do get a little warm, but this one gets very warm even on 120v. I haven't had a chance to use it on 220v yet, but it has so far done about 6 charging cycles and still seems to work fine. If it ends up being durable, it is a great find. Read more

Product was as expected.
Dual-voltage as expected. Immediately plugged it in to confirm that it worked and have had it charging for several days. I bought this for an upcoming trip overseas to make sure it would work with the higher voltage systems there. It is lighter than the original. That did surprise me given that it will handle higher voltage. Read more
