I got this set of bands to compliment a more robust band set for legs and glutes, so that I could add some arm and back workout, and also to provide my 13yo boy with basics to start building up some muscle, because hormones are incoming and he is getting interested in working out. With these resistance bands he seems to like exercising and I was very cautious not to get him started with something that would be too difficult to either use or set up, which could burn him out and cause his interest to evaporate. So these bands were a good choice for the boy. These bands come with a warning that they may snap and that I should wear protective goggles (not included with the set) to protect eyes from injury. This makes me somewhat uneasy and cautious when using the bands, and they do seem rather thin and I am not sure how long they would last. I imagine the material they're made of will deteriorate as it's getting older and goes through hundreds, even thousands of stretchings. But so far so good; I am not overstretching so hopefully bands will not break and smack me in the face. One thing I really like about this band set is how compact it is and it takes almost no time at all to start using it, so it's convenient to have it in a pocket on busy days and put bands around ankles while doing some chore, like doing dishes or folding clothes: just do some leg lifts and band's resistance action can be felt in the glutes and thighs instantly. I also used bands while watching a movie in the evening and I loved it: not commited to full workout, but still gaining some strength and burning few calories. That's my favorite aspect of the set: it can be used to a great benefit even when one is not setting aside time for full workout, but uses the bands to fill in while multitasking. Read more

Resistance Bands x6 First Impressions: Stretching Into Winter (and Beyond) As the temperature drops and the yoga mats come out of hibernation, my significant other and I decided to upgrade our at-home stretching routine with this nifty six-piece resistance band set. We're both new to the world of resistance bands (unless you count laughing at those “epic fail” videos online), so this review comes fresh from our first few sessions—no injuries to report, just a few giggles. What’s In the Pack (Plastic Zip Bag)? • Five Loops: Color-coded and clearly labeled from X-Light to X-Heavy, making it easy to pick your challenge level for the day—whether you’re feeling heroic or just want a gentle stretch. • One Handled Band: A thicker, straight band with integrated handles, rated at 25 pounds. Perfect for exercises that need a little extra grip and a lot less chance of sling-shotting across the room. • A Small Instruction Card: Not too much information Features & Highlights • Seamless Design: Each band is crafted without seams, which means fewer weak points and (hopefully) less drama during your workout. • Beginner Friendly: The clear labeling, variety of resistance, and included handles are great for newcomers—like us—easing into strength training or spicing up yoga routines. • Excellent Value: At just $2 per band, it’s hard to argue with the price. If only all fitness gear offered this much bang for your buck! Quality & Durability So far, the bands feel sturdy and comfortable. The lack of seams is reassuring, though as first-timers, we can’t speak to their long-term durability just yet. (We promise to update you if anything turns into a slow-motion cartoon disaster.) Safety & Advice • Start slowly, especially if you’re new. Resistance bands pack more punch than they look! • Consult with a fitness professional or physical therapist to learn proper form and avoid injury. • Always check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine. • And remember, resistance bands are stars in many funny videos for a reason; stay alert and hold on tight! Bottom Line For beginners looking to enhance yoga, stretching, or light strength routines during the colder months, this resistance band set is a fantastic, affordable option. With a variety of resistance levels, clear labeling, and a seamless design, it’s a great way to add some stretch to your step. Just keep safety (and maybe a sense of humor) close at hand! Read more

These bands feel really good quality - certainly way better than the ones I got during PT. They don’t feel like they’re going to snap anytime soon. I’ll be keeping them out of the sun and heat, and hopefully they’ll last a good long time. Another thing I really like about this set is that they’ve included the one single-thickness resistance band. The loops are stronger (being doubled), and therefore harder to use for some things, even if I try the X-Light. I also absolutely love that the single-thickness band has handles, which makes it a lot easier to use than one where I’m wrapping the band around my fists. I really appreciate that all the loop bands are clearly labeled, from X-Light through X-Heavy. With other bands I’ve used, I keep having to test the bands to refresh my memory as to which one is the right weight. (I guess you can tell I’m not as diligent as I should be…) I do really wish they’d specify the pound-weight equivalents for all of them, so I’d have a real point of reference. That would be my one complaint. Otherwise, this is great exercise equipment to have. Now I just have to discipline myself to do the exercises! Read more
