I love the bands. The quality of the product is great and you don't have a horrible smell like so many other bands. The bag to keep them in is the perfectly sized, which really matters more than you'd think--I've bought resistance bands before and the bag was always too small and aggravating. I had to leave them laying around instead of putting them up and keeping things neat. The bands have different weight resistance, which I really enjoy. I started off with the least resistance and will work my way up. They are easy to use and you'll be able to tell a difference. I've only used them three times and can really tell a difference. They make my muscles sore (a good sore) when lifting weights didn't. I'm really loving the door-safe anchor. I can do lots of exercises by using this. The ankle straps are a huge plus, too. With the door-safe anchor, ankle straps, and two handles I can get a full body workout. The pamphlet does a fair job at explaining the exercises, but it is informative. If it's not good enough to you, you can go on YouTube and get loads of ideas for using resistance bands or just play around with them and figure out what works best for you. The pamphlet also doesn't really explain how to connect the door-safe anchor to the bands or the proper way to use it. My only problem with the bands is that it can be difficult to connect the door-safe anchor to the band if you use the latch on the end of the band. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes it's very painful to my fingers, so what I like to do is slip the door-safe anchor over the band and not connect it at all with the latch. I then put the anchor in the middle of the band and put it in the door and that works perfectly. Maybe that's the correct way to do it anyway, who knows. I bought these because dumbbells are pretty hard to come by these days with out paying a crazy amount of money and my small collection of dumbbells just aren't enough for many of the exercises I want to do. I've been using them 2-3 times a week over the past month and half. So far they have done a good job, I haven't had them break on me and the product looks and feels very durable. I check everything before starting to workout and I haven't noticed any tearing or cracks in the tubing, attachments, or anchor. I like the bag that came with the bands as it helps me keep it all organized. These bands do an ok job of replacing dumbbells but I'm not sure they are true to the weight they say. This could be due to my lack of experience with bands, but that's really the only complaint I have with these. Since this set came with a door anchor they are very versatile and I'm able to mimic a fair amount of the pulley exercises I did at the gym by shifting the anchor from high to low positions on my closet door. I have also used multiple bands at once on the door anchor to increase the resistance weight without any issues. I'd say it's a good addition to a home gym, especially if you don't have a lot of extra space like me. But don't expect to get the same kind of workout as you'd get with dumbbells/barbell. Read more
