So, I bought this for my sister as one of her birthday presents. I got her a few smaller presents so she could have more to open. Anyway, I got this in yesterday but, today, I figured it would probably be a good idea to open the box and test it out just in case it was a piece of junk, but to my surprise, I was pretty impressed! I plugged my USB-C charger into the back and was able to turn it on immediately, so it's good to know that with no/low charge, it's operational right away while plugged in. I was able to connect my phone via Bluetooth just as quickly, and I put a song playing from YouTube. I was really surprised at the quality of sound. Good bass but not garbled or buzzy. Very clear. Decent mids and highs. The volume knob turns smoothly, and it gets fairly loud. It won't blow out your ear drums, but for a bedroom, bathroom or even a small BBQ with a group of friends, it's perfectly fine. It has good weight to it and sits on little rubber "feet" to keep it from sliding around. Doesn't feel like cheap trash either. It looks really cool, too. I got the pink version, and the chrome rose gold accents look great. It's small (less than 4.5" wide), but I think that's part of the appeal. It can easily fit into a backpack and probably most purses and glove boxes. It has a faux leather carrying strap as well. It comes in a decent, although unimpressive, little box with a USB cable for charging, another plug I didn't bother with, and directions. Overall, it was definitely worth the money, and I can't wait to give it to my sister. I'm considering getting one for myself in a different color. It would be hard to find something that sounds as good, looks as cool, and is as affordable as this little speaker. Read more
