Great alternative to wasting a lot of iced cubes. They were cold enough for me.

At supper time, I like to drink something with flavor like iced tea or lemonade or a powdered fruit drink. Since filtered water through my refrigerator can get expensive, I decided to try these so that I could reuse them and save a little on the regular ice. Plus, I saved some water. I don’t have ice in my glass for an extended length of time at mealtime and these seemed to do just fine at keeping my drink cold for up to an hour. I noticed that a portion of each cube was still frozen at this point when I washed them off and dried them to re-freeze them. I don’t feel as though these keep a drink quite as cold as regular iced cubes do, but there wasn’t that much difference that it bothered me. You get 20 cubes. I used 10 cubes for a large tumbler. They are slightly smaller than normal iced cubes. The colored cubes are probably nifty for kids or some people. I didn’t care about the colors and purchased these because they were reasonably priced.
