I purchased this curling iron (did not receive it free for review) after my last Revlon curling iron died recently after like 12 years! This one does not disappoint either, it is super easy to use, heats quickly and curls my hair perfectly. I love the way the tip is shaped which makes it easy to grip and the clamp has just the right amount of pressure to hold my fine hair. I do find the curling iron to be a top heavy when set down so it tilts forward but I just rest it on my sink lip to keep the heat away from my Formica bathroom counter. I haven’t had any trouble with turning it off accidentally due to the on off button location like some other reviewers have mentioned, I don’t find it to be a problem. I see many years ahead of reliable use if my last was any indication. Great product for a great price. Read more

This heats fast and is good quality, holds up well. I get some curl from it. It looks fine and nothing wrong with the design of it. I do like that it has an automatic shut off in case you forget. Read more

Had an older version of this curling iron that lasted for years - im doubtful this one will last as long. It heats up quickly. Its a bigger barrel (as ordered) so gives a very loose curls. So far, it serves its purpose but the quality of the curling iron has cheapened since the last time I bought this brand, The power button is right below the clip so when turning the wand, it is easy to put your hand on the button and turn it off - needs to be moved basically anywhere but there! Also, the strong metal support has been replaced with a cheap plastic piece that isn't big enough to keep front on iron up. Bottom line, its fine to use until I can find a better one. Read more

Let me start by saying I am not a professional stylist. This is for my home use only. I am very happy with it so far. The 1.5 inch barrel creates a lovely loose curl. You can set the temperature to your liking. This is a clip style iron. The clip is easily operated and hold the hair well during use. Good bang for your buck! Read more

I have used this curling iron for many many years. I bought a new one recently as the old one had lived its life. The old one had a metal kick stand that you could adjust, the new one has a built in plastic one that is awful, no adjustment. You will need to position the iron halfway off your counter (almost the entire handle) to prevent burning your counter top with the iron. It is a poorly designed kickstand. The power button is now positioned where my thumb hits it constantly while styling. I keep turning it off which is very annoying. The old one had separate on off buttons positioned lower on the handle about a 1/4 inch lower but just enough to avoid hitting it while styling. The single button on off is fine, just position it to where is not in the way while styling. Again a poor design IMO. The clamp to hold your hair is not as strong either. Heat wise, it is adjustable and it does an adequate but I did notice it does not curl as well (maybe because of the clamp) I will be looking for another option. Read more

I was really excited to try this. I have fine hair and think my hair does well with bigger curls so the size was perfect. At first, it was really easy to use and heated up very well. Once I was done, I realized that none of the curls were holding. Normally, my hair holds a curl very easily and for a long time, so it was very weird that my hair was going so flat so fast. I had to use another curling tool to touch up all the pieces that were losing curl already. I don’t think this iron gets hot enough. Very disappointed because I had high hopes! Read more
