I have used various curling irons in my life. Some just do not clamp my hair right. Im sure its a personal preference. I am not paying $50 to $100 on something like this. I think this is perfect pressure. Gets hot quickly. Can set the temperature as needed. Long enough cord that rotates. No tangles. Just the right weight. Read more

This is a nice petite curling iron and worth it for the price. however, I will say that the power button is in an unfortunate spot & I frequently turn it off accidentally while in use. Also the clip doesn't have a lot of hold close at the base. Nevertheless, overall, it's worth it Read more

Perfect Perfect Perfect!!! I have only had for a week - but it's Perfect!!! My old one from the 2000's finally gave out and I needed a replacement. You would think it's easy to get another - but this was my 3rd purchase. Others had no off or safety off, sizing of barrel was too large, too small, or they didn't work "right". 3rd try is the charm, this one heats up quick, holds the temp, it's the right barrel size for soft ringletts for my hair, and if I forget it will turn it's self off. I couldn't be happier. Read more

Before purchasing, I spent a lot of time trying to determine if this curling iron would work with just an adapter plug overseas. It states it is a universal curling iron. It absolutely is universal. It works as normal in the United States and with an adapter plug overseas. I have always used metal barrel irons and this was my first ceramic type. There was no difference from metal to ceramic. The nice feature is there are 30 heat settings. It took a few tries to determine which setting worked best. 23 was mine. Some reivews complained that the heat adjuster was in a bad place and they kept turning the heat up or down with their hand during styling. I personally did not find this an issue at all. Oh, and this iron heats up in 30 seconds, really! It also came with a silicone sleeve which came in handy when you did not have time to cool the iron down before packing. This was a great value too! The key to electical items when traveling overseas is to check the input. If it says input 110-220 or 110-240 it will work overseas with just a universal adapter plug for what country you are traveling to. The main thing is the input on the electrical item has to go up to 220V or 240V in order to work with just the adapter plug. When these requirements are met, you don't need a power converter. My Revlon .75 inch metal barrel curling iron input is only 120V 60Hz so I had the choice of buying a power converter or just ordering an inexpensive curling iron. I chose purchasing the curling iron. Power converters come in all types so you have to pay attention to the wattage of the item you want to convert power. Curling irons are usually around 15 watts where as a blow dryer may be 1500 watts (two different type of power converters needed). Power converters are more expensive so just buy the universal curling iron and a universal adapter plug. Read more

I dont care for the heat dial and on/off switch. I've purchased several curling irons from Revlon, but a different and better model, so I think I will go back to the previous purchase. Read more

Bought this back in 2021 and she’s still going strong! Heat level works great, only takes about 20 seconds to hold a curl. Super durable considering I’ve had it for almost 5 years. The size of the curling iron is perfect for traveling as well. Fits in a backpack. Read more

Perfect curling iron. Has stand to keep from lying flat heating the countertop. Heats up quickly. Great for controlling frizz. My perfect size is .75” and true to size. Because of several different heat settings it’s easy to control the tightness or looseness of curl. Read more
