This lip gloss is excellent, not too glossy or sticky, and having the perfect lip plumping effect. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely, yes. I love mine and wear it daily. It's a more neutral or nude color, so I can easily get away with using it daily. Read more

I am not really a fan of plumping glosses. I just don't think the payoff is worth the burn. That said, the tingle on this is pretty mild at least if you apply it thinly. Spice shade: This is the classic 90s rosy brown lipcolor. It's classic because I am pretty sure Revlon invented it. One of the original Colorstay lipsticks released in 1995 was called Spice. If you want this color in a non-plumping formula try the regular Super Lustrous gloss in Lean In. This Spice shade is a midtone and cool-toned rosy brown. It is brown but it has mauve or plum undertones. It is really flattering. It is too dark to apply without a mirror but it applies neatly if I use a thin layer and lipliner. It would be a good choice for women of color or just anyone who wants to try a 90s brown lipcolor. Formula: The tingle is referred to as icy hot so I think that means it has both mint (ice) and pepper (hot). It is a pretty mild tingle if you apply a thin layer over a balm. There is an 18 month shelf life after opening (see pic). Revlon never hopped on the clean beauty train and they still use preservatives. Serum not gloss: The ultra shiny pictures make this look like a lipgloss but it is called a serum. It is more of a serum than a gloss. The moisturizing properties are pretty nice. It starts out glossy but dries down to a satiny balm. Tube: I think the tube needs to be stored flat. If you try storing it upright on the square lid the product would drip down the applicator. The applicator wand is a perfect medium size that tapers to a point for precise application. Names: I don't like the names. They are kind of raunchy and seem to refer to using lip filler. Revlon seems to have poor marketing decisions recently such as discontinuing the popular Illuminance sheer foundation. But they do have great lip products and they have been making variations of this Spice color for decades. So if you want to do a 90s lip go with the OG. Read more

I put this on Saturday night when going out. I understand it plumps your lips and would have a tingling burning sensation, but this was intense. The color isn’t too dark since it’s a gloss, has a nice shine. They do plump the lips a little bit. Why 3 stars? My lips were peeling by Sunday night and all day Monday. I always wear chapstick so that somewhat saved me, but my lips haven’t shedded layers like that in years. Anything I drank or ate burned. It’s Tuesday night and my lips have finally stopped peeling, and are getting back to normal. That was wild. Read more

If you’re anything like me, you love the look of a super juicy, reflective lip, but you absolutely dread stepping outside on a windy day only to have your hair glued to your face. I’ve been on the hunt for a true high-shine gloss that acts more like a lip treatment, and I think I finally found my holy grail in the Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plump Serum Lip Gloss. I picked up the shade Jumbo Juice, and honestly, Revlon knocked this formula out of the park. It delivers on every single promise: hydration, volume, and incredible shine. The first thing I look for in a gloss is the texture—and this is where the Revlon Serum Gloss shines brightest. It feels exactly like the name suggests: a serum. It glides on effortlessly, providing an instant wave of moisture without any of that dreaded tackiness or heaviness. This is a game-changer. The entire experience immediately feels luxurious and comfortable, not like a sticky glue trap. It truly has a beautiful, clear gloss texture. You can feel the hydrating benefits working immediately, making dry or cracked lips look instantly smoother and healthier. The shade Jumbo Juice is the perfect everyday color. It gives a beautiful, sheer wash of color—a true "glow tint" that enhances your natural lip tone rather than masking it. It’s vibrant enough to feel intentional but sheer enough to be totally foolproof when applying on the go. Now, let's talk about the "plump" factor. While this isn't a painful, tingling plumper, it absolutely delivers on volume. Because the formula is so intensely moisturizing and the shine is so reflective, it automatically makes your lips look fuller, smoother, and incredibly pillowy. The high-gloss finish catches the light beautifully, giving the illusion of instant dimension and added volume. This is the perfect daily wear gloss. It wears comfortably for several hours, acting more like a moisturizing balm as the high shine eventually mellows out. Even once the glossy finish fades, the lips still feel deeply conditioned and hydrated thanks to the serum base. If you are looking for that wet-look finish—that glassy, mirror-like effect—this is it. It gives a polished look that’s perfect for the "clean girl" aesthetic or just adding a quick pop of vibrancy before hopping on a video call. The Revlon PhotoReady Instant Plump Serum Lip Gloss is an absolute must-have if you’ve sworn off traditional lip gloss because of the stickiness. It blends the best parts of a hydrating lip treatment with the amazing visual effect of a high-shine gloss. If you want a product that makes your lips look visibly plumper, feel incredibly moisturized, and give you that perfect, beautiful glow tint without any heavy residue, grab this one! The shade Jumbo Juice is officially in my daily rotation. 10/10 Highly Recommend! Read more

This Revlon Photo Ready plumping lip gloss will definitely make you lips look a little fuller. As with all lip plumbers, the tingling is normal. However, if you have sensitive skin I would be careful because it can cause burning and irritation if you are easily susceptible. I'd recommend trying it on your hand and just a small part of your lip before applying fully. The "Magically Inflated" pink color is pretty but it didn't really look good with my skin tone, but this would be a beautiful color on some people. The longevity of the lip gloss is kind of mixed. So the color itself stains your lips and can last pretty much all day. However, the glossy appearance does not last very long. To keep your lips looking hydrated and not dry you will need to apply a gloss over it throughout the day. Overall I would still say this is a decent product and the bottle includes a good amount that will last you a while. Read more
