The Hamilton Beach 22967 Model Slow Cooker is the best one I have ever owned, and with the liners I purchased with it. I don't have to use liners each time, as it all depends on what is being prepared, but certainly good for an easy cleanup afterwards! I actually purchased two of these, and gave one as a gift to my daughter, and she is absolutely loving it, as we both have such busy schedules, this product certainly saves us time and very convenient. Most of the food prepared with this Slow Cooker makes the food turn out better that if being prepared stove-top or oven, as it seems to retain the natural juices better and cooks more evenly than the traditional oven. If you're like me, and you're new to cooking, I would definitely recommend trying slow cooker recipes. They're very simple and fast. The only downside is that depending on what you're making and for how long, the mess left behind in your crockpot can be daunting sometimes. With this product, it cuts down cleaning time to virtually nothing! Just remove the used bag, rinse your crockpot and you're done one thing should be mentioned that if you're cooking something that requires opening the lid a lot to stir (for instance, cooking a ham), the condensation does get in between the bag and the pot and overtime with the cooking can leave "charred looking" residues behind. However, clean up is still minimal compared to if you didn't have this bag. I wish they made this product in a larger quantity. One box only comes with four bags. Read more

These are a must for me. I use my huge slow cooker once a month for our staff potlucks. Using the liners has saved me hours of clean up time and provided easy transport, cooking, cleaning and storage! I put my ingredients in the bag at home, take it to work the next morning, put the bag in the slow cooker (I leave it at work), turn it on, and by lunch it is ready! Then I serve. If it's all eaten, the bag goes in the trash and there is minimal cleaning of the crock, if there are left overs, I twist tie the bag, put it in the fridge and then clean the crock! These bags are the best thing since sliced bread! Read more

These can be sometimes hard to find on the grocer shelf. I was delighted to find them available on Amazon. My crockpot has been my go to low energy non heating up the kitchen set forget appliance. I use this to slow roast fall off the bone baby back ribs, pork roasts and shoulders, chuck roasts, chickens whole and leg quarters and numerous soups and casseroles. With the advent of the slow cooker liner by Reynolds. They just love us women. I no longer have to clean the crock pot. Empty out the contents as you would and follow with lifting the bag liner out of the pot and no fuss, no clean up. Try Reynolds cooking oven bags and also their non stick foil. I have been spoiled by Reynolds and my family gets spoiled because I don't mind cooking messy dishes. Read more

These liners are a great concept and probably work well for most applications, but they do have some issues. The primary issue is the durability of liners. When cooking chicken or pork in my slow cooker, I often use forks to shred the meat following cooking so the meat can remain in the juice or seasoning. Often times the forks or utensils will tear the liners and ultimate flood the inside of the cooker - which is precisely what I'm trying to prevent by using the liners. The liners do a good job during the cooking process to keep food from being burned onto the side of the slow cooker, so that's quite helpful for cleaning purposes. All in all, 4 stars because they're decent - not perfect. Read more

I go camping every year and I make a crockpot full of chili, which then sits in the pot until I get home and let it soak in the sink for a week. I tried this and it worked like a charm, I just lifted the bag out and tossed it in the trash at the campsite and brought home a clean crockpot! There was a little bit of condensation under the bag which wiped right out with a paper towel and I just had to clean the lid a little bit. I wasn't sure if this would fit my crockpot as I have a large "wide" crockpot with a clampdown lid, but the bags fit it with no problem at all. I saw one reviewer complained that it altered the taste of whatever he had cooking, I didn't notice anything odd whatsoever and got nothing but rave reviews ont he chili... Read more

I love my crock pot for the ease of cooking in it, but I've always hated cleaning it out. Just a few months ago I was lamenting to a friend about this dilemma, and she told me about crock pot liners. Why did it take me so long to learn about these? They are amazing! Cleanup is so much easier. There are no melted bits of plastic wrap in my food, which I was worried about. Everything seems to cook the same, more or less, it's just easier to clean up. I notice that others have commented about the price. My review is without taking price as a consideration, so you will have to consider what you think the convenience factor is worth, and where you make your purchase. Read more

Yes, you do still have to clean your slow cooker/crockpot out with soap and water after using these but it is oh so easy! We all have had the experience of having food baked on to the side of our slow cooker/crockpot after it has been cooking our tasty meals for hours on end and I for one have even considered throwing the crock away and purchasing a new one to avoid the hours of soaking and scrubbing. Not to mention the broken nails I've endured even while wearing rubber gloves. But never again since I discovered these these little babies! The slow cooker/crockpot remains relatively clean (I have had some minor leakage but that could have been my fault) and they have made cooking with my slow cooker/crockpot a complete joy again. Yeah Reynolds! Well done!! Read more
