I recently picked up this mini bluetooth keyboard to manage my Home Theater PC and Fire Stick, and overall, it has been a good addition to my entertainment setup. It’s a huge step up from trying to type out movie titles using a standard non-voice remote! The Good: Versatility and Function Dual Connectivity: Having both Bluetooth and the 2.4G USB dongle is a massive pro. I use the dongle for my PC and the Bluetooth for my Fire Stick, and switching between them is relatively seamless. Backlit Keys: This is a must-have for movie nights. The lighting is bright enough to see exactly what you're typing in a pitch-black room without being blindingly bright. Compact & Portable: It’s roughly the size of a standard smartphone, making it easy to tuck into a couch cushion or keep on a coffee table without adding clutter. Touchpad Accuracy: For such a small surface, the touchpad is surprisingly responsive. It handles basic navigation and clicking much better than I expected for the price point. The "Somewhat" Part: Things to Keep in Mind While I’m happy with it, there are a few quirks that prevent it from being a perfect 5-star experience: The Learning Curve: Because it’s so small, it takes a day or two to get used to the key placement. If you have larger hands, you might find yourself hitting two keys at once until you develop the "thumb-typing" muscle memory. Sleep Mode: The device has an aggressive auto-sleep feature to save battery. While helpful, it means you sometimes have to tap a key and wait a second for it to "wake up" before the trackpad starts moving again. Verdict If you’re tired of the frustration of on-screen keyboards, this is a great, budget-friendly solution. It feels solid, the battery lasts for quite a while on a single charge, and it makes searching for content infinitely faster. Just be prepared for a little "thumb practice" during the first few uses! This is one of those products I did not realize I needed until I had it. I recently built a living room PC from older parts mainly for media streaming and game streaming and this keyboard has been extremely convenient for that setup, and I really can't praise it enough. It's small, easy to grab, and eliminates the need to keep a full keyboard and mouse nearby, which makes it a total game changer for my setup. Design wise it feels like a refined revision of earlier Rii models with welcome updates like USB-C charging and slightly adjusted button placement. It does take some getting used to since reaching the right side of the keyboard can feel a bit awkward at first due to the touchpad being in the way, however it's not impossible. Adjusting your grip to accommodate definitely helps here. As for the touchpad, it's small yet surprisingly precise once you tweak sensitivity or DPI settings as well. Two finger scrolling isn't that great due to the size limits but holding the FN key and scrolling with one thumb works very well. Connectivity has also been very solid over both Bluetooth and 2.4G and I really appreciate the hidden dongle compartment so the receiver does not get lost. The backlit keys are genuinely helpful in a dark room and the device is smart about power saving, shutting off quickly when idle. Overall it's compact, versatile, and far more useful than I expected. For me at least I would say it's easily one of my most favorite purchases in a long time. If you need a keyboard or mouse for the living room PC this is by far the one to consider. Read more

Hey, when they call this a mini bluetooth keyboard, they really mean mini. Turns out that is just what I need for my Samsung tablet. It hooked up to the bluetooth fast and easy. I was happy to find the keyboard works perfectly with my android tablet. I use Krita on the tablet. It's open source software that wasn't originally meant for a tablet. The software file management works much better with a keyboard. Well, now I have mini keyboard that will be super easy to carry around with my tablet. Truthfully, I have a bluetooth keyboard made for tablets. That keyboard is regular size and I don't usually feel like hauling it around with me. The mini keyboard is growing on me. I mainly need it for things like, control o. This little giant has control and alt keys. It has a touchpad, and arrow keys. Seriously, there are regular sized tablet keyboards that don't have those features. If I need to write a lot, it probably won't be on the Rii mini keyboard. But the tablet I connected it to is mainly used for drawing with Krita. The mini is perfect for that. The size makes it easy to travel with. It charges with a usb C, like all my other fav electronics. I am liking the mini. Read more

Not a bad little keyboard. Using with win11 pc. Cursor keys a little small but ok. However, case has an odd protrusion in the back which appears non-functional, but which prevents the case from sitting flat. Looks like it could be a place for a plug or cable connection, but this guy is wireless. Considering returning if I can find one without that (non)feature. Read more
