On outward appearance, looks like a zip-tie with some numbers on it. And given how small the numbers were, I was skeptical of this being anything more than a novelty. But turns out, this is very accurate and the built-in magnifying bulb makes all the difference in readability. Very handy tool and very accurate. Not something you would use everyday, so the biggest downside to owning is where to put it when you're done so that you can find it again when needed. A perfect candidate for the junk drawer. The ring sizer we once had when my wife had her store was a bulky set of stainless steel rings on a big hoop. That works great on the counter in a jewelry store, but it’s overkill when you just want to grab a size to order a ring. This little device is efficient and economical. It’s a great concept. Having the strap as narrow as it is means that the numbers on the surface are small, so they take care of that by having a magnifying glass mounted in the pass-through. This ring sizer works great and is easy to use. I can attest that it's accurate because it matched the ring sizes I wear on fingers that have been measured multiple times over the years both by my own metal loop of ring sizers and at jewelry stores. The magnified window makes it really easy to read the size. The retail on this is more than fair, especially since it seems to be durable enough to last for a while. I had been thinking about ordering a signet ring but had no idea what my ring size is. This review is for just the ring sizer only. It is pretty basic in that you just wrap it around your finger like a tiny adjustable belt and the size is displayed in a small magnified window. I like this rize sizer band is perfectly good at what it does. It's metallic lines and numbers contrast well with one another. The clear lens magnifier is clever. It slides on and off very easily. It should remain relatively clean for a long time if you're even mildly capable of wiping it it with a disinfectant towel. Read more
