- You can use the replacement parts included in this Rittenhouse Udor Kappa 40 Diaphragm and Valve Complete Repair Kit (KAPPA40REPAIRKIT) to restore damaged valves and diaphragms on the Udor Kappa 40, Kappa 40/GR, Kappa 30, and Kappa T35 Diaphragm Pumps. If you notice the oil in the sight glass has a milky grey color or if the oil plug pops out, this usually means one or more of the diaphragms have ruptured. Stop running the pump and replace the diaphragms immediately. It is recommended to replace the diaphragms every 3 months or 500 hours and replace the valves every 6 months or 1000 hours, if your pump is in constant use, to keep it reliable in the field all season long.
