We discovered this intoxicating perfume at a Boutique in Paris... bought it on the spot then ....(it drives my husband crazy) ... after we got back to the States... and almost a year later, we were running out of it. We searched for it in our area.... and the only brick & mortar location that carried that brand / style, was one of the exclusive upscale department stores in our area...(and not really in our immediate area.... it was @ 30 miles from our home) ....and it was @ $195 for a 6oz spray bottle. We don’t remember how much it was in Euros... nonetheless, we found it expensive... but we figured, if it’s the one that drives my husband crazy... it’s worth every penny. And in all honesty... it’s not so much the money... it’s more ...finding the time to go to this fancy department store... park the car... walk through the shopping mall and try to get service at the fragrance counter... that is much more of a hassle. One evening, my husband “let his fingers do the walking” and searched on the internet... we “found it” at a super wide range of prices ..... from @ $40 (for a 3.4oz spray bottle) through Amazon Prime ... to the $195 (plus shipping) at the fancy department store. We figured .... what the hey!!! Let’s try the $40 through Prime... if it’s a knock-off, or for some reason it’s not quite the one we fell in love with in Paris... well... it’s “only $40”. It was exactly the same fragrance... slightly smaller size container... but BONUS ... since it’s “only” a 3.4 oz container of liquids, we can put it in our carry-on when we travel. WIN-WIN-WIN. This is a unique smelling perfume and i'm sure it does appeal to a lot of people, it smells okay to me but it doesn't make me say "oh that smells good'! For me the first scent that comes to mind is a powdery smell and I had my Dad smell it and I thought he gave an even more accurate description, fabric softener. The packaging and bottle is nice, Perfume mixes with your body chemisty, this perfume last a while after you spray it on. Perfume is a very personal item and it must be appealing to the person wearing it, this Robert Piguet Mademoiselle Piguet is a pricey perfume so I recommend finding a sample at a store first, then make a decision. Ohhhhh la la. I wasn’t expecting to like this! I’ve tried a sampler and another version of this brand and the scents are truly hit and miss. This has a deep sensual rosy floral smell, but doesn’t stink like roses. I actually can’t pin point what flower it smells like, but it’s very familiar to me or maybe it’s like fruit like some yummy cherries? I love it whatever it is and I do get reminders of it when I’m wearing it from time to time - I love perfume that does this so I don’t have to keep respraying it on. Honestly, I wouldn’t suggest over spraying this - one squirt seems to work well and does linger for fairly descent time frame. This is going to be added to my collection of return scents when I’m out. As I’m a huge fragrance enthusiast and I don’t care price point when I find a scent I enjoy. Robert Piguet Mademoiselle Piguet Eau de Parfum Spray for Women This perfume is just so delicious and aromatic. I get why so many guys are loving this scent. On the more basic features it’s a nice but not super fancy bottle and box. It gets the job done but isn’t like a fancy sculpture like some perfumes. It’s still very nice. The most important and subjective evaluation is the scent. I love it and think you might also. The last question only you can answer is the cost, it’s pricey. I have tried several different perfumes and don’t really have a preference. I feel like my scent changes with the seasons, as well as my preferences. This is a citrus/floral scent that is very bold - and I can still smell it on my skin a few hours later. It isn’t overwhelming, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it until I wore it a few days and then definitely decided it grew on me. I very much like it’s scent. Very distinctive and very flowery and truly intense. However, the four ladies I asked if they liked it said it was just ok and wouldn’t go out of their way to get it or to wear it.
