Not too hot not too cold, really might depend on the individual person, it's good for me... however you'll need anti fog goggles as regular glasses will fog when mouth is covered; otherwise it's actually a pretty unique design and looks better in person. Read more
If cold wind had a nemesis, it would be this ROCKBROS fleece balaclava. I put it on and immediately felt like I’d unlocked a cheat code for winter. Wind? Blocked. Chill? Evicted. Comfort? Front and center. This isn’t one of those stiff, suffocating face masks that turns breathing into a cardio event. The fleece is soft, warm, and breathable, so you stay cozy without fogging your glasses or feeling like you’re trapped in your own scarf. ✨ Why this balaclava punches above its weight: Windproof thermal fleece: Keeps warmth in and icy air out where it belongs. Breathable design: You can actually breathe normally. Revolutionary. Soft & non-itchy: Comfortable against skin for long wear. Versatile coverage: Wear it full-face, half-mask, neck gaiter, or open-face. Great under helmets: Fits nicely under bike, motorcycle, or ski helmets. Unisex fit: Works well for men and women without weird sizing issues. 🚴♂️🏍️ Real-world cold test: Used it for cycling, outdoor chores, and general winter survival. It stayed in place, didn’t bunch up, and kept my face warm without overheating. Even on windy days, it held its own like a champ. ⚙️ Comfort & usability: Stretchy enough to pull on easily, snug enough to stay put. No constant adjusting. No ear discomfort. Just warmth that works. 💰 Value check: Great quality and absolutely worth the price. This feels like gear you’d expect to cost more, especially for how well it performs. ⭐ Final verdict: If you spend time outside in winter and value your face, this ROCKBROS balaclava is a must. Warm, breathable, and ridiculously practical. Winter can keep trying… this mask is ready. 🧣❄️ Read more
Item arrived exactly as pictured and described. Got this item for days when I have to do things outside and get Pele hair (thin shards/strands of fiber glass) flying through the air from Kilauea. The fleece fabric is soft, warm and comfortable against the skin. The fit is excellent, it can fit my small head decently and it stretches over my exes head which is much bigger than mine decently. The fine mesh pleated breathing zone is such a unique and functional design. Its breathable, allows smooth airflow, doesn't feel suffocating and it doesn't allow my oversized shades to fog up like it claims. I think my favorite part is that its an actual named brand with its own unique logo and I dont know about y'all but I always do feel better about my purchases when its from a reputable brand. Less chance for disappointment. The price is also awesome compared to other ones or there. All around a great lightweight yet well made product that serves its function excellently. 100% do recommend! Read more
the hubby has been doing some construction outside and commented - repeatedly - on the bitter cold when it dropped below 54F degrees (with no wind). I suspect he was looking for some sympathy baked goods. as the supportive spouse, I leapt to his aid while also considering what may muffle the "hints" a bit. here's what he said: - a little large, but comfortable and holes lined up where they are needed - did the job keeping skin warmer - didn't restrict breathing at all, and didn't trap garlic breath enough to make him pass out and fall off the roof - construction quality was good, and the flat stitched seams prevented rubs or itchy spots - can't really comment on how cold it's useful for since we live in the san francisco bay area, so look at other people's reviews for that kind of info. the bonus - and probably the main reason the hubby wore it all day - was it acted a bit like a particle filter. When he was doing some demolition with a chain saw, no inhaling the chips. Ditto on sawdust from a table saw and a chop saw, though fine dust will still pass thru. he kept it and will use it more. the only negative is it didn't muzzle the "do we have the ingredients for a key lime pie" comments as much as I would like ... I may need to shop in the adult toy category on amazon to deal with that. Read more
This balaclava ski mask fits tightly over my large head but it's still comfortable. I found it to be of medium insulating property and the mask part is more breathable than most balaclavas I have used. The mask section has an innovative weave that's ridged and raised and multi-layered. The mask layers are thin and allow you to breathe easily but also don't block wind when it blows strongly. I have used this for hiking around and for bike rides. It works best in temperatures slightly above freezing and didn't hold up well under freezing conditions on the bike rides or in high winds on extremely cold days. I do very much like this design and I'm impressed with the breathability in particular but I have a thicker balaclava that's better for the most cold days. Read more
We just made it through the winter storm in Texas. I had this mask come in weeks ago and had the chance to use it. It fits well. It's snug and not uncomfortable and I admittedly have a large head. It kept me warm, it didn't move around on my face and overall, it did exactly what you want it to do in the blistering cold. Great product! Read more
