This Stand is the best I've had. I've looked at many and have had one for djing that requires unscrewing and screwing 4 large nuts every time I'm setting up and breaking down (so not to lose them). I'm sure anyone looking at this review knows what I'm talking about. But this one is as described, super high quality construction, the swing out arms are amazingly simple and is a very sturdy. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand - it snaps together in 2 seconds. It's solid metal and if all else fails, it would make a stellar blunt force weapon. On the other - with my laptop on the top tier, my DI Box on the middle and my Dj controller on the bottom (Numark Mixtrack 2) I worry that it may fall if slightly bumped which would be horrendous, mid-gig. Also - and I'm fully capable of doing this myself with a small trip to a hardware store - why is there no simple rubber coating on the bottom legs to keep whatever controller sitting on it from slipping and/or sliding around? About 4 seconds into using my controller, I immediately was filled with The Fear of having to hand-adjust my decks. Somewhat annoying to a high-strung American Irish drunkard like myself. Read more

First off let me say this is a terrific product: sturdy, versatile, convenient, well priced.... and performs as advertised. And I would have given it 5 stars if it had some important additions that could improve versatility and its application. Primarily, features should have some built-in adjustability that would accommodate the safe stacking of larger equipment: for instance, adjustable height, adjustable width of the top dropdown rack, and perhaps some way to adjust/increase the dimensions of the small (adjustable height) tray. I needed another small stand to place my additional "heavy" audio mixer under my main audio mixer. The main mixer sits on a larger Rockville stand. This fits just perfect under the larger Rockville stand and also fits my AW 8 channel powered heavy mixer. Then it folds up into it's included carrying bag. Read more

Solid as a rock. When I opened it I had my doubts because of the base area, but when I placed my old heavy HP Elitebook on it, it was incredibly stable. I'm not sure what could happen to make someone give this less than four or five stars. Read more
