I went into these Rokid AI glasses curious but skeptical. After using them for travel, calls, and daily errands, they’re more practical than I expected. First, they actually look like normal sunglasses. The design is subtle and wearable, not bulky or overly “techy.” They’re lightweight enough for extended use and don’t feel front-heavy like some smart glasses I’ve tried. The open-ear audio is clear and surprisingly private at moderate volumes. Calls sound crisp, and people on the other end said my voice came through clearly. The real-time translation feature works well in quieter environments and feels especially useful for travel situations. The 12MP camera is decent for quick photos or short clips when you want hands-free capture. It’s not replacing a smartphone camera, but it’s convenient for point-of-view moments. Voice control is responsive, and basic commands like calls, navigation prompts, and assistant features worked reliably. Battery life is reasonable for this category — enough for several hours of intermittent use. They charge fairly quickly as well. These aren’t meant to replace your phone, but as a companion device for navigation, calls, translation, and light productivity, they make sense. For the price point, they offer a solid introduction to practical wearable AI tech. Read more

I have read comments on video reviews of these glasses after I received them, and people have had the same problem with buying these glasses from Amazon. That is that the A.i. does not work. The setup is confusing. Rokid has 2 apps on app store. The app that works with the glasses is called Hi Rokid. Used the Rokid app and couldn't register or pair the glasses. That was the wrong app. Using the correct app allowed us to pair the glasses. Followed the tutorial, but the a.i. features did not work and couldn't even finish the tutorial. Was thinking maybe there was too much ambient noise with the kids playing their tablets nearby for the glasses to hear the commands. The glasses recognized the wake command, but would immediately shut off after it was spoken. All the video reviews I watched speak do highly of them, but it has been a bad experience for me. Wanted to get a replacement pair for my spouse since this was a gift that we wanted to use for an upcoming trip. The experience with these glasses was so bad, that my spouse has no interest in purchasing another rokid product. A real shame cuz they seemed so much better than what Meta is putting out. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I can confidently say the Rokid AI Glasses Style Ultra-Light Smart Sunglasses are absolutely outclass in every way. The video quality from the 12MP first-person camera is exceptional — crisp, clear, and incredibly natural. It captures moments exactly how you see them, making it perfect for outdoor vlogging, cycling, and hiking. What really impressed me is how lightweight and comfortable they are. You barely feel them on your face, even during long outdoor sessions. Unlike bulky smart devices, these actually look stylish and modern — just like regular sunglasses, but packed with powerful tech. The real-time translation feature works smoothly and feels futuristic, especially when traveling or communicating with different languages. The open-ear audio is surprisingly clear without blocking surrounding sounds, which is perfect for safety during cycling or walking outside. On top of that, the IPX4 water resistance and UV400 protection make them practical for everyday outdoor use. They’re not just smart — they’re built for real life. Overall, these glasses combine style, innovation, and performance into one ultra-light device. If you want cutting-edge features with exceptional video results in a sleek design, this is it. Highly recommended! Read more

I like the fact that this is using Gemini or ChatGPT instead of Meta. It is super lightweight and works well overall, and the videos are nice and clear. However, I decided to return it due to a few reasons. Commands sometimes don’t get executed without any prompt or response. The glasses are a bit too big, and they constantly fall down on me. There aren’t any transition lens options, limiting its use to outdoors. Read more

I can't tell you how much I really enjoy these things. I didn't think I would like them as much as I did. To be honest, I normally wear prescription glasses and wanted to try them out. I fell in love with them so much that I took them down and put prescription lenses in them. Just the idea of being able to talk without earbuds or something into your ear utilizing the speakers and the glasses. The 12MP first-person camera is incredibly convenient to capture photos and videos hands-free while riding or hiking. The footage is surprisingly clear for something built into glasses, making it perfect for casual outdoor vlogging or capturing moments without pulling out a phone. Everything just works so well.
