Big screen in a non face covering way which is a plus for actually wearing this out in public. Super clear, I was shocked. Those are the pros. The minuses hmm they are small but I would very much like if there were some positive adjustment instead of only negative adjustment for nearsighted. Like, as you get older most people become farsighted and seeing the near is the hard part and these have no positive adjustment at all. Luckily I'm right borderline for these so they doable and very clear but yeah there's some eye strain after a time in one eye. But that's just me and not the product. Maybe they could sell a lens attachment that gives an extra +1 or +2 that would essentially be like a glass screen protector on the inner lens that faces the eyeball? Like corrective glasses lol. One other neg is the screen pushes right up on the viewing angle so if you are using the entirety of the screen then you'll probably get an obstructed bottom edge or top edge depending on how you wear them but it's very slight and not really an issue. This technology is really incredible, I would not have thought possible in something so small. OHHH If you're still reading, the best part I forgot is the colors! They are sooooo good. This oled is amazing with the color vibrancy and absolutely no screen door effect. Oh darn Ok I just remembered a negative with the station 2 after the latest firmware update. I cannot find the station 2 on any of my many devices to wirelessly screen-cast to it. This mean no external view using multi monitor - wireless to the device when using the station2 which is a pretty major feature that's not working even after a full factory reset and setting up again. I have my fingers crossed that they will fix the issue though hopefully on a next update? Anyway yeah it's a great product. Good battery life on the station2 also. I use 24 pin usb magnetic dongle attachments to quickly reattach cables and it works perfectly. That's a third party product though. Read more

Hsiang Meng had commented something about the different rokid glasses and not needing the Station 2 you can just use glasses alone and that's the case for all the glasses. They can all be plugged into an iPhone or an android. The difference is with the Station 2 it's a charger a mouse and gives you so many more options then just a Google play store. So remember that you can get the Max 2 glasses and they work great on their own but the station 2 adds so many extras that you won't get without it Read more

I love these glasses. They're compact and great for traveling, I can plug in to my steam deck and play games like im playing them on a big screen. I also love watching 3d movies with them. Such a game changer! My only regret is that i didnt see the mini hub charger adapter as a free gift until after I received the glasses and station2 in the mail. Is it too late to get the hub for free? Read more

Janky, Unreliable, and Totally Unusable with Major Android Devices – Avoid. Product Purchased: Rokid Max 2 AR Glasses and Rokid Station 2 I purchased this product with high hopes based on some YouTube reviews, but the real-world experience was deeply disappointing and frustrating. This is not a "plug and play" device; it is an unpolished, janky system that fails on multiple fundamental levels. Technical Failures (Did NOT Work With): Phone Compatibility: It absolutely did not work with my Pixel 7 Pro. Tablet Compatibility: It absolutely did not work with my Samsung S10 tablet. Language Support: The system failed to function reliably with different language settings. Core App Access (The Biggest Issue): It DOES NOT provide access to the standard Google Play Store. This means you are locked into a proprietary, non-functional ecosystem. I could not download any necessary apps to make the glasses work correctly, nor could I download any artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The device, therefore, offered zero access to AI or any extended functionality. Camera Failure: The camera functionality was completely unusable. Customer Support & Quality Issues: Support: When attempting to call the customer support number for help, I was only routed to an answering machine. This lack of live support is unacceptable for a complex and expensive piece of technology, suggesting a major commitment gap from the company. Quality: This device is being advertised as a quality Augmented Reality (AR) experience, but it is anything but. It feels underdeveloped, or, as others have rightly stated, "janky." It is not a flushed-out system and is far from the seamless, high-quality experience users expect from modern tech. Word to the wise: Save your time and money. This is snake oil. Minor quibbles - screen drift doesn’t stay centered, I ordered prescription glasses with astigmatism correction but there is still a perceptible blur at the edges, implementation based on android OS has its limitations, high fan noise from handheld unit, glasses heat up and can cause dry eyes or other issues if you don’t remember to blink, not sure if these are okay for sessions longer than an hour or two. Despite all this, these can be a very cool tech gift! Read more
