Love this, perfect to setup as an automated timer or if you just want to turn the light on when you are out late and the house is dark. Normally use the app to turn it on or off, but there are buttons on it too to allow other people to turn it on. No issues with connecting to the wifi, and it turns on pretty quick when you use the app. Veey happy with this product, plan to buy another for our Christmas tree. Note to pet owners, the covers for the plug outlets apparently can be chewed off by your pet if they are chewers. Read more

After really searching Amazon for the right outdoor smart plug I came across this device by Roku. After having several Roku media streamers and a TV, I now see Roku makes security lights as well as smart plugs, and after adding this device to our home, I’m impressed with Roku design and engineering! Purchased in June 2025. It is December 2nd and my item stopped working. Water got into it and they said that the unit is water resistant but the plugs are not; therefore it is not covered. So I am out of luck. Be wary - there are Wyze plugs out there that I have had that have been great. Spent most of the day on the chat with them, they wanted pics - not sure why - sent them. I had to go through and try to press a button and see if it works, did not. But because I told them water got in it (from the rain) - its an outdoor plug - I get nothing. I started with one set of LED lights on the strip, and now I have another strip and now these plugs. Roku is so easy to work with. I love the simplicity of the app that controls all the devices. Roku works with both Alexa and Google home and It takes literally no time to set up in the app in the beginning and to add more devices is quicker than leaving this feedback. Products haven't let me down yet. I've had my LED lights for over a year and still working great. I'm actually adding another set of lights soon and more plugs. I love having control of turning off and on items at will where ever I am, at home or away from home. At this time I don't use Alexa or Google home, I use timers for my lights when I'm traveling. But if someone is watching your house, they see your lights go on at the same time everyday. If, I have some on timers and some on at my control, Then I leave them guessing. Read more
