It was okay for what it was
I think I should have looked closer and realize that they did not send a glove with this curling iron, it is pretty easy to burn yourself and you really have to be aware of where the buttons are cuz if you're new to using this product you can make a mistake and it curl tightly against your head and be very hot. I have longer hair so I definitely had to use a heat protectant and the curls came out pretty good I think the little clip on it that you stick your hair and should be a bit longer I would definitely not suggest this for a first time user, it has a swivel cord I think it heats up to 220, for me it just takes too long to do my hair but for someone with short hair that knows how to deal with these curling irons it could probably work out well it was good for what I paid for it Read more

Works great! Just check it's not broken!
I bought this for my mom's wedding, since neither of us had a thick curling iron. The first one that arrived was broken. I couldn't increase the heat at all as the button was jammed in. But when I asked for a replacement, not only was the delivery incredibly fast the new one works wonderfully. My boyfriend really loves the way the curls are bouncy and it doesn't take too long to do the full head of curls. I would buy again, I just recommend thoroughly checking that it's working properly the first go around. Read more

Love this curling iron! I was skeptical due to the low price but it works as described and really makes curling my hair so much easier. I've had it about five months and have used it over a dozen times at this point and I'm hoping it lasts for a while. I don't curl my hair daily but for the amount of time I need it for this is working out well. I don't really need the glove but I did try it out to see how it works and it does protect against the heat and I can see it being useful for curling longer hair in the back where it's harder to see what you're doing.
