It’s super durable , comes with clips, comb and gloves. Perfect starter kit and great as a gift. I was skeptical about the heating BUT surprisingly it was a hit ! Absolutely love this hair curler! No twisting your hair around the wand. It does it for you! The curls last so much longer than a normal wand. The first one I received powered on one time, but the LED display did not work. I turned it off because I didn’t have time to use it. I wanted to try it again a couple of days later, so I tried to power it on, and it would not turn on. Maybe it was a bad apple, I thought, so I exchanged it for another one. The second one powered on and the LED display worked, but the home button did not work. The home button is very important so you don’t end up burning yourself trying to grab the handle on the wand that you use to clamp your hair in the iron. I actually tried the second one since it would power on, and it made nice curls. If the second one hadn’t also malfunctioned, I would have kept it. But I figure two broken curling irons in a row is a quality assurance issue, and it isn’t a good product. Read more

Works well. It heats up quickly and can be adjusted to various temperatures between 290 degrees and 450 or so by steps of ten. It has two speeds for turning. I prefer the slower speed. I have long hair and was able to quickly and easily curl all my hair in about ten or fifteen minutes. It is a bit finicky to see which direction to have the wand turn in. It's a bit of trial and error. Also, FYI, I found it pretty scary when I was trying to release the wand and accidentally pressed the wrong way and it just got unbelievably tight on my head and tried to keep going. Read more

This device is cool in theory and if I had thinner hair, it may hold the curl better, but I still need another curling wand to get the job done. It may just have been my experience or a faulty device but my hair was not able to cold a curl even with product beforehand and after. I do heatless curls sometimes as well and my curls last longer with the rollers than with this curling iron. I do think my thick hair is the main culprit because, on the frame pieces in the front of my face, I do not have any problems with them staying but the back of my head is a nightmare. Not to mention if you are not careful you could easily rip a big chunk out of your head. Overall definitely take caution with this and do further research Read more
